Amy's voice is as crystal clear as Karen Carpenter's vocal chords

Many rave over Karen, not so many over Amy :(

We're getting there, a few of us love her

And what a band, you don't need to make a thrash bang wallop noise to sound great 8-)

A pleasure Dave

I have Durly (he posts on our Album of the Years topics) to thank for introducing me to The Delines a while back :)

'Colfax' maybe marginally better than 'The Imperial', they are both crackers imo!

I love the Delines Leon, never understood why they are more popular in Europe than the States, should be at least equal... as they do self profess to be a "retro country band"... Dont see that myself much more blues /rytham and blues to me... Glad to see Amy Boone fully recovered from that accident in 2016.

Good to hear you enjoy The Delines, that's seven of us on here who enjoy their music :o

The Imperial album just made the 60 in the charts.

I didn't realise they sold out the whole of their UK/Irish tour. I read somewhere the Delines sold out 16 gigs in Portland, Oregan

Of course Smudge

I read they have toured in close proximity to us (30 miles west), I can't believe I missed their tour dates :(

A gig that wouldn't hurt Mrs 64's ears :)

#10 Patsy Cline ... Mrs S in her singing days was more of a blues/jazz singer, but did quite a few covers of Patsy

She is considered one of the most influential vocalists of the 20th century and was one of the first country music artists to successfully cross over into pop music. Sadly died so young in a plane crash.

She changed her name, 'Patsy' derived from her middle name Patterson
