TV/Radio Football Pundits - Likes/Dislikes

Post by Muppet the Cat »

Now I know we all have particular ones we prefer/like and ones we really dislike.

Is it just me or does Micah Richards really get on any one else’s Tom’s.........I just find him the most annoying pundit out there at the moment with a seemingly forced laugh at every opportunity....and yes Micah you perhaps mentioned once or twice before that you played for Villa and Man City  How he ever got the gig on MotD2 and Radio 5’s Monday Night Club is beyond me.

Not far behind Micah in the annoying stakes though is Dion Dublin.

On the other hand I do like Gary Neville, Chris Waddle, Ian Wright, Jermaine Jenas, Chris Sutton and although he’s not on these days I did like Andy Townsend.

Quite liked big John Hartson , Robbie Savage and so on.
Shearer was ok but didn't usually take too many others seriously I suppose.

Always liked Ally Mccoist and Ian Wright, know what they're talking about and don't take themselves too seriously.

I’m sure, the no doubt pleasing on the eye, Emma got the LUFC TV gig because of her razor sharp technical insight of the difference between a 4-4-2 and a christmas tree set up ;-)

For my sins Gary Neville is my favourite pundit.

Hated him as a player but as a pundit he is good and never forget how he (and Carragher) refused to jump on the Sky bandwagon over Spygate.

Also Roy Keane just because he is always so angry.

Really really angry and honest

Agree Clay, Roy K is great viewing, but I do wonder if his ‘Mr Angry’ persona is a little overdone sometimes, just for effect, because that’s what people expect when he’s doing a game :duno:

Roy is a womans thingy, he should never be anywhere near a football match after what he did to Alfie.....that was assault and he should have done time

Tbf from people who know him he seems to be a pretty intense guy

But surely nobody can be as angry as he seems all the time?

Gary Neville for me. Always well balanced views. Never forget his comments on a Liverpool v Scum game....."its like The Red Lion playing the Dog and Duck!" Also, something I've never forgotten, when someone was complaining about making sacrifices he said "They're not Sacrifices, they are choices...."
