Re: Greatest of all time
Brazil 70 is the best ever team, Tostao, Rivellino, Jairzinho, Carlos Alberto, Gerson, Felix, Pele, Everaldo. I used to be able to recite the whole team but some have been forgotten

The surname suggests that he was GOAT -- Best
Watched him turn the great dutch team inside out in Amsterdam back in the 70's .

Re: Greatest of all time
Quite an interesting article yesterday by Jeff Powell where Ronaldo and Messi only just scraped into his top 10 players of all time ( not sure I necessarily agree with that however ! ) . Pele was his GOAT and John Charles at 6 .
My GOAT would be Cruyff and I had the absolute good fortune to see him play for Holland in a friendly against England at Wembley in 1977 . He was absolutely sensational that night in one of his finest ever performances . Watching genius before my eyes was and remains , a real privilege .

Re: Greatest of all time
Johan Cruyff the greatest for me, and the Holland team of 74 and 78 World Cup. Total football at his best.

Re: Greatest of all time
There were a great watch billie and involved in some great games at the 82 World `Cup. Some of the games from that tournament really stick in the mind as classics (unlike some, if not most, of the recent tournaments which have been pretty poor for excitement IMO).
