Lead to believe Kevin and Barrie have always been particularly close with Rob . His decline was been very rapid ,can't describe how sad this is.

Managed to keep the tears away, just, until Sinfield broke down, and then I was in bits. Such an awful illness, which of course also took the great Don. Rob and his family are coping brilliantly, in extreme circumstances. His wife is a lovely lady, who must be going through hell on the inside.

Poor kids will have to grow up without their special dad. Lindsay & Robbie are so brave

Just watched this , heartbreaking stuff . It's an awful condition. I've known a couple of people who suffered who are no longer with us . Hopefully some day soon some form of treatment will become available

I have only just watched it as well.
Heartbreaking stuff. The courage and strength he and his family have shown is amazing.

Not easy to do 7 marathons in 7 days, even if you’re a current pro athlete.

Especially brilliant considering he’s 40, retired and weighs 90kg.

Most of these athletes that pull off 7 marathons in a week are 9 stone wet through.

1.3 million raised and counting.

Just shows what an absolute legend Sir Kev is. Bravo.

They are 1000, that Rhinos team was so together, teammates & loyal friends including their families.

Bielsa has generated the same comradeship with the current set of players at ER

Rob Burrow is made an MBE for services to rugby and his awareness campaign since being diagnosed with motor neurone disease.

Well deserved

Absolutely well deserved. Such an awful disease :( :bear:
I'm going back to 505, I saw them at Sheffield and they were amazing.
