Another positive:
Although we feel we have been on a bad run of form we have the 7th highest points tally over the last 5 games. Perhaps we should just trust the great man, relax and enjoy this roller coaster ride?

Yes it like some fans just forget what has happened over the last 2 seasons where we continually had blips where we looked poor, shocking at the back and unable to score and then suddenly things would click again. The big example being our bad run around the similar time of year last season followed by 5 wins on the bounce without conceding a goal - prior to covid saving us.

This team will continue to do this as a lot of the players are 7/10 type players so if a few of them have their 3 poor games in 10 at the same time then the team looks poor.

Positive - 3 points
Negative - KP was too easy to get past and was although one of our best performers last season, I dont think any of the 'big' 6 would take him in current form. Does Bielsa tell him to launch the ball forward everythime he gets it? I thought we were a touch and go styled team not a big Sam one.

Positive: 3 points in the bag and getting very close to being safe
Negative: Our team play seems to have disappeared, maybe down to injuries, team changes for the Cup and a lack of match time??

Positive - Newcastle are a poor side but we still won but only just. When St.Max came on we were touching cloth a bit but held on.
Negative - As I said Newcastle are a poor side and it was not convincing. Leicester are very good our defense is not.

Positive: Bagged the points in a vital 6 pointer against a team below us. Get the points and get on the bus.
Negative: Looks like we will be playing for the rest of the season with a patched up defence. We might take a beating or two from teams in the top half.

That's definitely the case but like I mentioned before this team does that and then it clicks. How worried were peopl last year when we went on that terrible run? Then we outplayed Brentford (despite it being a 1-1 draw) then things clicked and we were free scoring and watertight.

For me we just have to accept this and just look forward to the next good run whenever it comes.

Pos - vital 3 points
Neg - shouldn’t be letting a relatively poor team have so many chances, when better sides come knocking we will be in trouble
