We arent signing anyone bud unfortunately.

With Llorente a crock and Koch out we need a loan cb.

We need that creative cm that we needed in the summer and we need a left back.

Its also concerning how easy it is to get shots against us. Said before but man for man is to easy to play against when you have better players. Schar wandered through our midfield, Almiron, Saint-Maxamin walking past KP.

Newcastle had over 20 and only them and WBA concede more shots per game.

We should recall Bogusz if we're not going to sign a CM then.

Left Back and CM then Alo and Forshaw to move on for me.

Can't see any CM that would be a first 11 player being available though.
Every game I predict a 3 - 1 Leeds win, I am traditional like that.

No one is going to want Forshaw. Got him for another year draining the wage bill and being injured.

Whilst I'm pumped to get three points against Newcastle, I fear now a long run of difficult games and a squad which seems to be lightweight. Losing Llorente to a hammy means we won't seem him for 3 months minimum (a standard 2nd degree hammy can be 6 weeks before returning to training). Of course we don't know the extent but it doesn't bode well to see him before April now.

With Koch also out long term, and Struijk now drafted into CB, we are very short on quality cover here. Does anyone expect Cresswell or Casey to step up as a starter should they be needed? I want to see Ayling stay in his RB spot not used as CB cover. In my opinion we do need somebody in. Irony is we need a right-sided CB after our two new RCBs are long term injuries and our two fit players are both southpaws.

CM is another position we desperately need sorting too, but less so than CB. With Klich woefully out of form, Hernandez lacking the legs, Rodrigo (who is quality but not a CM), Shacks (wet behind the ears and lightweight), leaves only KP to do too much in there. Plus KP is a walking yellow card and may get another 1 match ban before the season is over.

I really hope with 5 days of the window left, we can find some decent cover, particularly at centre back.

we won't sign anyone, think the strategy is to just survive, then in the summer i can see about 2 new addition to the squad, and hopefully it will be 2 decent players, must keep rodrigo and raphinha llorente is a duff and will only complete around 180 minutes for us this whole season, and next season be the same and we just would not be able to flog him off, he will be a drain on the wage bill (pity) that this must have been a panic buy, there were better much better around for that money.

Sure we will just get Dallas to fill all those spots at once :)

Klich was one handball away from getting back into top form again :verysad:

Tbf Llorente rang alarm bells imo.

His injury record and fitness issues were well documented similar to JKA's issues last year.

"It was really bad there [in La Liga] too. [Llorente] regularly missed time [and] had an operation in August 2018. He was out for a few months then."

"Going further back, it was an issue at Real Madrid too."

A quote from a journalist about Llorente.

The simple fact is the man had a reputation, Orta again took a risk on a player whose history suggested that he wasnt suited to the rigorous Bielsa methods, and his time here is no shock based on that.

I feel sorry for Llorente but Orta has made another error imo and while i dont know any other cbs (cba looking) their will have been other names on the database we use.

I would like to know why we choose Llorente though.

We chased Gvardiol for ages, a young left footed left cb.

How does Llorente appear on the same database?

Behrhama wannabee...

Can't see it myself.

Unless he could triple up as a CB/DFM. :)

His stats seem to hold up....plenty of pace, 9 goals this season + 6 assists, a 4.4 ave pg of air duels won....cant speak about his attitude as have seen nothing derogatory...

If Raphinha and Rodrigo are out, we really need someone in. Wouldn't even mind Dan James ffs.
