Outstanding today from the lads. Back to our early season best, dare i say it with a bit more grit and determination thrown in for good measure. I was surprised by the result, the lads at work couldn't hold back telling me the result because they were surprised.

Great result sets us up well for the tough fixures coming up. We matched LC up all over the park today. It was a in yer face performance with purpose. Their fans will call it a bad day at the office......It was we beat a title contender 3-1 Ave it!

I too thought some of our tackling today had a bit more bite than normal, especially in midfield and upfront.

Paddy is a great spokesman for our club Swannie, you only have to listen to him how much he cares for Leeds United & his teammates.

Those injury concerns have put a spoiler on what was a magnificent display.

From what I have seen of Summerville I would prefer him as option.

We do have Pablo though!

Pablo should be a million miles ahead of Costa to start.

Really did think Costa would kick on, he had some great games earlier this season but whatever it is thats caused it he has dropped.

His sub appearance today was poor but the one before that was one of the worst ive ever seen.

Personally id go Poveda if Raph is out.

Pablo is 35/36 absolutely no way he has the pace and legs to play as a winger any more.

Very pleased with how we played and the result today.
Good performances all round but special mentions for Struijk, Bamford and Rapha.
I wish Messi had caught the cross that he punched out. He was way above anyone else and it should have been an easy catch. I thought we looked less vulnerable in the air at free kicks and corners with Struijk in there.
Still worried when the opposition runs straight at us down the middle. I was happy to see us not over obsessed with the passing around the penalty area today.
Overall we really couldn't ask for any more from the team.
Oh yes, Costa was rubbish.

Sadly I don't think Marcelo thinks he is, the wrangle with Pablo seemingly exists :(

I would dismiss the lack of legs issue.

When he came on for Rodrigo a few games ago, Pablo chased back the length of the field tracking his man & winning the ball back twice, the little man plays all over the park, he is as fit as a butchers dog

Very different coming on against tiring legs compared to starting.

I love Pablo to but how many 35 year old wingers can you think of?

Noticed it last season, Pablo's man often ran away from him as the 2nd half wore on.

He was far better as a sub imo.

Decent result considering most of our team are not Premier League quality, eh?

Pablo is still a better option than Costa

You can't judge anyone on sub appearances unless they get an hour at least. Some players specialize in being subs others like klich Roofe and apparently Costa struggle to get up to speed quickly. Alio is a very good bench player as an example. Roofe was disastrous, Klich needs about 15 minutes to warm up
