Disappointed with the result but happy with how we played.
We were unlucky not to score more than but credit to their defense and goalie.
We just need to learn how to defend :poo:

Costa was ok, one noticable error. Thought Roberts offered quite a lot, should have donr better with his shot though.

Pablo was probably least effective, playing quite deep.

Agreed, they definitely killed our momentum. What has Shack got to do to get a chance?

If we have any ambition, Cooper, Ayling, Costa, Alioski and Roberts should all be gone in the summer.

Not blaming the pitch by any means but how many times did we slip over tonight. Longer studs needed against Palace.

Didn't deserve to lose that.

Everton slightly better 1st half we were miles better 2nd half.

Everton keeper made some great saves, Bamford hit the bar, Roberts shat the bed when an actual bit of quality was required at the end.

Usually very downbeat but not today, we more than matched Everton overall.

Costa, Roberts and unfortunately Pablo made no real impact, does highlight pur depth issue in truth.

But very unfortunate.

Raph I'm terrified now, he is going to attract attention. Will be a test of the ambition of the Venture capitalists and Radz if and when the offera come in.

Head and shoulders our best attacking player, we need someone his level in cm and left side

Disagree. Pablo was like a conductor with an orchestra, he was dictating play imho, Roberts offered nothing and scuffed our best chance at the end, Costa yeah ok was just ok but ok is not good enough! :bear:

Our attack momentum increased after Costa came on

It was already dipping before Roberts came on, which is probably why Bielsa brought him on

Indeed, both completely ineffective, but they still get game time.

Yes but how sharp are you going to be with 15 minutes every 2 or 3 games in two years.. Thought Bamfords pass was a little heavy..

I'm feeling harsh Chilli. My heart always sinks when Roberts comes on, but the game just seemed to lose pace with the subs tbh. :bear:

2 more soft goals conceded have killed us again tonight. The lads gave their all tho, especially second half on what looked like a dangerously slippy pitch. I missed 10 mins due to stream freezing up on 70mins.

Both teams had their chances just like the first game but Everton were gifted 2 goals and it was always going to be difficult to come back from that. Saying that a draw probably a fair result in the end. Earlier in the season they would have had a penalty when Ayling seemed to control the ball with his arm. I thought we had a shout at the end maybe but the players didn't seem to react much.

Overall i thought it was a frantic enjoyable game on a slippy surface, we gifted Everton 2 soft goals but gave it everything second half and were unlucky not to get something from the game in the end. On to the next!

Agreed. The club should be looking at a LCB. No more sentiment please.
