Pablo tried to create but his radar was well off and nearly cost us a goal.

Roberts took up decent positions but no actual quality on the ball.

Costa did nothing of note.
The usual impact from our subs....no end product

We were unlucky not to score more than but credit to their defense and goalie.
We just need to learn how to defend :poo:

Little moments maybe but its not enough (not just Roberts all of them).

He should have scored, that was his moment and he totally shat the bed.

I thought Pablo tried to grab the game by the scruff of the neck like he always does. Unfortunately he nearly cost us a breakaway goal.

He hasn't played all season SG what you on about. :)

How many times have we left PL main strikers unmarked to score this season, you'd think if there is one man a defence would concentrate on marking is the oppositions No.9

He's never going to score and that's the whole point of bringing him on. Give Greenwood a chance instead.

4 goals and 4 assists in just 13 matches of action.

At that rate he will reach 10 in both, its inevitable i think.

Will test Radz's ambition.

Bit like Villa and Grealish, if we have ambitions above being midtable we keep Raph

I thought we made them look good

How did their keeper not get the MOTM? he saved them on at least six occassions

I haven't seen it back yet 64 but the space he had was criminal at first glance. Their top man aswell as you say.

If Raph carries on he will be worth big big money. He's just got that quality we have been lacking for many years in front of goal.

Why don’t we just put someone on the post for corners? We are so crap at corners it’s a bit of insurance that would have given us a point tonight. These self inflicted goals have robbed us of so many points this season. So much good work and play undone so easily.

It was always inevitable they'd be after him. Just hope we get decent money for a change rather than selling on the cheap as per usual.

I think expecting someone like Pablo to thread intricate passes and create goal-scoring positions with just a 12 minute cameo every two or three games, is not realistic. He needs to be on for at least 30 mins to sharpen up, otherwise it's not worth putting him on. Overall, we're paying for not having £30 million of centre back talent available to us. Rob Green was asked what causes our Achilles heel of conceding easily. He said it was because of the lack of height in defence (which also has a grain of truth) but did not mention that we're yet to see our international defenders play together this season.

I just think they're bang average, cue them losing at the weekend now. I said it at the start of the season when everyone said they were title contenders.

Have to say for all the positivity, our defending on both goals was dreadful.

KP lost Sigurdsson totally on the 1st and Cooper on the 2nd.

Well taken goals but lapses that cost us.

MB has to do something about set pieces, its been crap for 3 years now.
