Excellent performance.
No stupid passing at the back, looking dangerous at all times going forward.
10/10.

Not one of our most scintillating performances but didn’t need to be. Did enough to win very comfortably - result never in doubt from 3 minutes in when we scored the first. Hope Phillips is ok for Arsenal!

Slightly more pragmatic and all the better for it.

That was one of our best performances of the season. Assured, dominant and competent. Palace didn't look likely to scare all game, we controlled them from start to finish and managed the game almost perfectly.
Harrison was unlucky not to get a second, he's really looking a proper threat as of late. Klich was looking more back to his usual powerful self, Kalvin was a tower of strength and Dallas just seems to be getting better every game. Cooper and Struijk were imposing and unflappable, both really looking like they wanted that clean sheet. Meslier did exactly what was asked of him, as did Ayling and Alioski.
But wow, Raphinha. He seemed to take it up a notch tonight, he was everywhere all over the pitch and excelling in every part of it. Can you imagine what wonders we'll be treated to with a few more of his quality in the side?
I know Zaha wasn't on the pitch today but honestly, I can't see him making a vast difference to the outcome. As I intimated before the game, Bielsa had Woy's number and had Palace sussed. We were the upstarts getting a hard lesson earlier in the season but tonight we looked the seasoned Premier League side by miles.

Great performance, could've been a lot more, but we dominated for 90 mins. Another clean sheet and top half. Cooper had his best game and Struijk is growing with every game. Raphinha not much more can be said!
This day last year was Forest away and I thought we'd thrown away promotion, now we're top half of the PL. What a difference a year makes!

Bamford for England? Hope not! Don't need Southgate ruining more of our players!

If Phillips is injured, hopefully MB has learned his lesson and doesn't play Struijk there. Bring in Shack and put Klich there.

Best midfield performance this season.

Struijk should've had at least 1, if not 2, but at least we have someone trying to attack corners. The goal will come soon.

My geordie mate who is a big Newcastle fan just text me and said he loves watching Leeds this season.Carrick Dave wrote: ↑Mon Feb 08, 2021 10:00 pm Anyone who doesn’t like watching this Leeds side has no soul.
Even in defeat against Everton we were great to watch and kept me believing.
And when we’re sh1te on occasion I’m just as engaged.
Thank you Marcelo!

The 4-1 losses at Leicester and Palace grated on me big time long after we’d moved on, but now both nullified.

The bell end presenter on Sky asked Jamie Carragher and Chris Coleman if the top Premier League sides will try and sign Raphinha in the summer.
f**k off man, he's Leeds!
That really pissed me off.

Professional performance.
Got the 2nd and took the sting out of the game, none of this gung ho stuff, sensible.
Cooper had his best game this season imo.
Paddy ran and ran and took his goal well.
Klich and Dallas were great in cm.
Harrison worked hard.
Raph is head and shoulders above everyone else, he should be offered a new contract tomorrow, under no circumstances woulf selling him this summer be acceptable.
Top half, games in hand, seemingly showing a bit more tactical maturity.

They do the same with Grealish and Manure.
As you say, they only want the top 6 to have any talented Prem player.
Raph stays next summer and we have ambition, goes and we dont.

Rumours that Roberto Martinez is looking at Struijk for Belgium. Interesting, they are the top ranked nation in the world!

I think we need to make sure we pay him top dollar, and revise his contract as necessary.
Categorically, he’s not going to enjoy playing his football more anywhere else, and he can become a real legend at Leeds.
We need to hold on to him and build the next level around him and Kalvin - the current absence of the fans might be a disadvantage here, a few games at a packed Elland Rd and he might realise that the place he’s come to is something else.
