Actually forgot he played for us until I saw that stat.
Horrible time mate.

That victory actually gave us a glimmer of hope of avoiding relegation, unfortunately those hopes soon faded hence fifteen years of doom, gloom & misery :(

Klich is now recovering his form and linking up well with Dallas. Does he not gel well with Rodrigo?

The answer is big fat NO Davy, Klich needs a workhorse alongside him & in Dallas he has the perfect match.

Klich does ok with Pablo too, because he has had two seasons with him playing this system.
Rod is newer to the piece and it will take a season for him to fit in.

Just watch when he does.

I'll leave that one to Marcelo

We have been much more solid with Dallas in a midfield role, he's almost playing like a 2nd DM in front of Phillips.

It's not in his nature I guess however if he wants to play in a Bielsa team Rodrigo will have to work on that part of his game.

I mentioned in one of our home defeats that Rodders lost the ball on two occasions & then made a half hearted attempt to track back but giving up in the end.

Don't get me wrong I like Rodrigo, he looks a class act just needs time to settle into the system.

Not doubting Rodrigo's ability, he's a quality player

Much talk about Struijk who was great tonight again, but what about Coops? Who would have thought he’d ever have looked so composed against PL attackers (except Marcelo, obviously).

Still don’t know how to reply to multiple quotes or I’d have included Ian’s reply

What happens if we sign a quality AM in the summer - de Paul, for example?

Solid performance tonight.
Dallas and Klich were very good in midfield. They complimented each other really well. Struijk and Cooper both looked really good in the middle at the back. My only negative from the game is that I think Allio looked a little fragile defending a few times.
We missed a few attempts with headers today but the positive thing is we were actually getting to the ball with our heads. I'll go out on a limb here and predict Struijk will score with a header very soon.
