Works hard in game too, ran miles in the first half v Spuds. Yes he gets way too much stick here.

He had an excellent first half... the tactical swap by MB was perfect, he was showing signs of going off the boil a bit..credit where credit is due

Thought he was the best player on the pitch v Brighton,

Set Ayling off with the back heel, came to nothing
Lovely touch pass to Klich who blazed one into the stands attempting a cross
Outrageous flick to set up Jack with a shooting chance
2/3 other move instigated that came to nothing, worked his socks off
2 headers won, one less than Llorente
2 tackles won
Even had a blistering volley blocked IIRC ...

And the uniformed criticism here says lazy, no creativity... He's probably been the unluckiest player in terms of goals and assists. Not at his best yesterday but I think he went a bit lame rather than tactically subbed. He wouldn't normally mis hit his passes especially back to back.

You could be right, now I think about it, especially when you point out the two miss hit passes...
