Not sure what I think about Live-Now coverage. For my money I’d like a bit of post game reflection and player interviews. Instead I get the arm end of a groundsman replacing divots. Mmmm.

best performance of the pre season, doesn't say much though tbf.
Klich didnt look right after that muscle issue he had.
Llorente and Firpo probably missing vs Manure.
Midfield still looking very suspect.
Better than Ajax but not a great performance again and fitness and injury concerns are mounting.

Fans need to stop going on about owners being billionaires. Americans don't invest, they take. Look at Kroenke and the Glazers, the Swansea owners etc. It's why I feared American ownership.Cjay wrote: ↑Sat Aug 07, 2021 7:50 pm![]()

Maybe so and i suppose with covid you can kind of understand it, but at the same time with ffp relaxed and us in theory having not one but two multi billionaire investors you would have thought we would have money for key areas?
Although as mentioned before i have very serious doubts about the 49ers and just how much of the money is their own, strongly suspect the majority of it isnt and comes from people like Lowy and the Youtube bloke and they are just a front creaming a bit off the top from their investors like most funds of that type.

And the season before and the season before that, can we not give Saiz a call?

Tbf though we have to protect Raph, he is our 1 really special player, he needs protecting.
Why Costa though?
Where was Poveda or Summerville?

True i agree mate.
Had/have hoped that Peter Lowy would be a gamechanger.

Would have been nice to win a pre-friendly match but at least the performance was much better apart from the two soft goals we conceded & nearly another right at the death.

The youngsters must be restless soon. What's the point when those two are 2/3 subs?White Riot wrote: ↑Sat Aug 07, 2021 7:59 pm Surely he knows that Costa can do fook all by now?
Should have thrown Summerville on ahead of Roberts or Costa

And Ajax lost 4-0 to PSV today, while they outplayed us earlier. Madueke is going to be a star player, better than Sancho.Cjay wrote:best performance of the pre season, doesn't say much though tbf.
