He's gonna be a good un imo but he's not ready yet and circumstances not right yesterday. Bielsa is protecting the kids a bit while sticking to his plan of first team consistency. May also have been asked to treat the cups with a bit more thought this year, Full crowd in for a third or fourth round game v a top team won't harm the coffers.

U23's get the tough Prem 1 this season so that will help sort the men from the boys

Possibly the season before we were relegated from the premier league. (I could be wrong and I dont mind being corrected )You know, football is about attacking AND defending. Crewe defended very well, credit where credits due
No no no! Defenders putting their bodies on the line and blocking shots is only brave when we're doing it, when the opposition does we're just crap and can't finish chances! When we sit deep in a low block and are hard to break down we're being pragmatic and sensible, but when they do it we're clueless and out of ideas!

Me too swan. I always thought he was good enough to make it. Just hope others are given a chance too.

Struijk is fantastic! Been a big fan of him for years now, so happy to see him regularly in the first team now, week in week out.

Pascal is our No.2 centre-back when he is playing alongside No.1 CB Llorente imo!

Hopefully, the lad will be alright, that's horrible what he's had to go through. We're short on central midfielders, so if he can keep being available it's gonna help a lot in case Dallas, Klich n KP get injured, or suspended.

Competition for places is always a good thing and seems like we're not recruiting, other than Firpo n Harrison.

Thanks Haighy.
He'll never be a world beater but it's good that he's back after two years of misery.
