Rumours that the knock he took vs Newcastle will keep him out for a few weeks.

Fortunately we have plenty of depth and Welsh international goal machine Tyler Roberts to cover.

Has to be doubts about Raphinha & Ayling too, Luke didn't look good.

I hope so...
A good run of games will do wonders for his match sharpness, and confidence.

I'm just much happier with Rodrigo starting up front....Geldherdt may get a chance too if Paddy is out for a while.

You'd hope so but whenever Roberts and Rodrigo are on the pitch together MB has Roberts up front.

MB seems determined to make this Rodrigo as a 10/8 thing work therefore its possible he may start Roberts?

Especially with how stretched our squad is atm and Dallas playing full back.

Its either Shacks or Rodrigo cm i suspect.

Shacks in the middle, Rod up top with young Geldhart on the bench. Scored two crackers for the U23s yesterday, got to be knocking on the door, surely?

Would love to see Rodrigo get a few games up top to see what he can do.
Think the time off may do Bamford some good as he looks out of sorts to me and we need to find goals from somewhere as we always look likely to concede.

Hope MB doesn't start Roberts and leave Rodrigo as the AMF as I don't think this work due to Roberts not being a natural finisher and his decision making leaves a lot to be desired also.
Would love to see Geldhert get some minutes as that lad is full of confidence at the moment and will offer us a viable alternative to what we have seen so far from our attackers.

Bamford not travelled to London (but will be available for West Ham), Llorente has travelled.

Wow Llorente may play at Fulham, fingers crossed he doesn't break down again.

Patrick Bamford vs. Brentford

22 mins played
7 touches
3/3 successful passes
3 ball recoveries
1 shot
1 shot on-target
1 penalty box touch
1 offside
1 foul
1 goal ⚽

Clinical. :fire:

Patrick Bamford became the first Leeds substitute to score this season across all competitions.

He is the first Leeds player to score from off the bench since Bamford scored from the penalty spot in a 3-1 win v West Brom in May.

This season:

7 appearances
2 goals
3 assists

How much have we missed Paddy?

Would we have got back in the game without our No.9?

I doubt it, tbh.

missed him so an awful lot

that statistic about a sub not scoring for so long is really concerning although not surprising!

True but Roberts also got one and a better goal to put us one up, so we can score without a CF up front, in fact Paddy started the first 5 with one goal so there's 4 games without a goal from the CF ...

Two goals & three assists in Paddy's 7 appearances (1 x EFL Cup)

Rumour from Twitter Bamford has picked-up another injury.

If true, I hope he didn't injure himself whilst celebrating :(
