First half was decent

But 2nd was poor and MB did nothing, poor use of changes because of his pecking order (like for like James and Harrison and daft Roberts for Raph).

Poor game management, it was obvious we were fading.

This was poor from Bielsa im afraid, his stubbornness (and yes he is stubborn) was a hinderance today.

Nope it's the lack of control in midfield, which we didn't strengthen due to Forshaw playing a few games for the u23s.

I think there are teams punching above their weight at the mo who will come a cropper. Also, we have Llorente, Koch, Pascal, Paddy, Ayling and (a fully fit) Raph to come back, we haven't had a settled team yet.......but on saying that, I am worried. We need to get out of this lull we are in and we need MB to start making sensible substitutions.

Sickening to lose so late on as we looked like we were going to get a point against a very good West Ham side despite being under the cosh for most of the second half.
Their first goal ricocheted of both Cooper and Firpo so was very lucky but the second one Firpo got out of position upfield and left us exposed.
The miss by Klich after Raphinha had bamboozled Rice was pivotal.
I'm not sure how many more goals Gelhardt has to score to get his chance?

Whatever way you look at it.. whether first half decent etc etc.. we will be put under pressure and we won't be able to cope.. taking a star player like raphinha and replacing with Roberts and taking off a pacey James for harrison. I really don't know what bielsa is thinking.. put it this way fans will soon loose there cool soon with the team and bielsa if this kind of form continues

I think 7 is minimum requirement from those games.

With 3 CBS out this was bound to happen. Against players like Antonio you can’t afford a single mistake. Shackleton was superb with Cresswell but a slight error was punished.

We were clearly the better team till Raph was subbed. Should have killed the game in first half, when we don’t take our chances the established teams will punish us. This season is all about survival I am afraid.

Bringing on Roberts to play right wing is symbolic of the problem, he has to use his bench better, was obvious we were fading 2nd half and he did nothing until it was to late.

Mb and sensible substitutes don't belong in the same sentence. We needed a goal and he sends on Roberts who is prolific ...sorry ..horrific ! Gelhardt should have been sent on with the instructions....just do your stuff and grab us a goal.
