On current form I can’t see points at at all.
My glass ain’t half empty. It’s got a few dregs in the bottom!

All tough games when your team are near the bottom & totally out of form.VinnysTattoo wrote: ↑Mon Oct 18, 2021 3:17 pm On current form I can’t see points at at all.

December is looking like 3 points or less if we are lucky

With a full team we might just pick some points up where unexpected
Depends whether our new midfielder settles in or not.

I see the tv companies are getting lined up to watch our relegation fight. We'll be on every week from about March onwards

Then we stay up and send the geordies down, brilliant.

Re: November/December Fixtures - Scary
Although the draw vs Wplves was a nice upturn we are still bang in trouble
Anything but a win vs Norwich puts us below the average points needed to avoid relegation.
The average to survive is around 36 points, a draw or a defeat puts us at just over 34 points (34.2ish).
Hopefully Wolves was a turning point but if not that list of fixtures above is deeply concerning.
Norwich is the definition of must win imo

Have to agree. I see it as a point per game on average will keep us up so a win next week and we're just about on course for that but wins against those around us are becoming more and more crucial.Cjay wrote:Although the draw vs Wplves was a nice upturn we are still bang in trouble

Still reckon we'll take points of some of the more fancied teams, we simply can't keep turning out performances like against southampton, yesterday showed what we can do, a little more finesse up front and the confidence will come back, Rodrigo scoring ought to do his confidence a world of good, young Joe will hopefully get more time , he scares defenders big time, maybe MB will have to bite the bullet and give the lad a run.
