If Gelhardt doesn't start next week, Bielsa can go!

That performance and result could be the difference between us going down and staying up.
I missed the last 20 minutes.
Gotta say well done to all the lads for keeping going and eventually getting a result.
Hope, Raphinha is ok otherwise we're gonna massively struggle for creativity.
Goal will do Rodders confidence a bit of good.
We desperately need KP, Paddy and Raphinha fit and playing to get us away from the bottom.
I'm delighted for Gelhardt, he's a real talent.
I really hope MB will start Bate and Gelhardt in the EFL Cup to show what they're capable of.
We're already aware of the lack of creativity from the first eleven.
We need to beat Norwich next week and that result should give us a shot in the arm.
Let's hope we have a good display at Arsenal too.

Great point

I thought his commitment was terrific today, he put himself about

Much improved performance today against a team happy to park the bus particularly in the 2nd half. Hopefully Bielsa has seen what Joe can do after having a tremendous impact. Against Championship opposition next week he should be a starter or a full half at least. Jimmy caused havoc as well and well worth more minutes. Tell me...wtf did Roberts do again !? Bielsa's pet project should've fallen lower down the subs bench after the kids shown him what to do today.

And Roberts.... yeah, perhaps Joffy can be our man off the bench now
:duno: I watch hesgoal, can't say I've seen that

My heart sank when Roberts came on at half time, especially when the Radio Leeds crew were desperately trying to work out who he was replacing.....

Wow to Geldhart, brilliant performance

Saiss was a disgrace, cynically nobbled Raph and then tried the same with Rodrigo. Should have been off.

Nothing wrong with Rodrigo's play all season, it's been consistent, apart from last week at St Mary's, and let's face it, they all should have been fined a weeks wages!

Gelhardt is a centre forward, he gets into positions that centre forwards should get into. Rodrigo is neither a centre forward, nor a natural goalscorer, but his hard work on the pitch and putting himself about is why he was bought to the club! Gelhardt should have started games as soon as we found out Bamford was injured. Square pegs in round roles doesn't work!

Roberts did fine, but he's never going to make the difference to a scoreline. Why Gelhardt didn't start is bewildering, why Roberts came on at half time instead of Gelhardt hints at Bielsa being a liability!

Na if that was the case the pop ups would be power tools, hifi stuff and holidays.. , What I am surprised about is that there are so many cute looking girls in Belfast just waiting for me to call!

Most of them round here were tracksuits and resemble the back side of a bus.

Another game we should have won but for abject finishing and poor defending. A point better than nothing though, but can't keep relying on Newcastle and Burnley not winning. We must beat Norwich, no excuses. Gelhardt off the bench and makes a difference, imagine my shock. Yet Roberts will still be first sub next week. Play the kids!

It was tongue in cheek, that's not to say that there won't be a lot more finger pointing if we don't get a result next week against Norwich.

I said James was a waste of money when we bought him, and it's proving to be the case. Jimmy is better than James and Harrison and should play before them.

What a revelation in Gelhardt and what a bargain at less than £1 million.

I agree they both should both get a lot of play time.

There were two instances of Gelhardt In the box that were absolutely sublime. The first when he was completely surrounded by Wolves players and he just wriggled about and like a fish on the line keeping the ball at his feet. His close control was phenomenal, and the second was when he was like a down hill skier slaloming through half the Wolves team to get to himself a penalty.

That is what we have been missing someone running at the defense with pace and leaving defenders arse over tit.

Brilliant substitution by Marcelo, dogged display by the team, I felt it in my waters that their perseverance would be rewarded... all you gainsayers go weep in your beer since you have nothing to complain about.

OH no I forgot that once you have an certain mind set then you stick to it, and no doubt you will find something to complain about.Image

He was lucky not to get booked for the high challenge on the corner flag....

Our best ever eleven probably wouldn’t beat Norwich next week - they haven’t won yet, and are playing Leeds (you know the story…) 😬
Ps, my comment is tongue in cheek, although it wouldn’t surprise me either 😁
