Why would you use England's best holding midfield player at the back (and possibly piss him off in the process ) Bielsa has done a remarkable job for us over the past few years...BUT ??
We looked better once he went off tbh.
Said for ages something's gone on behind the scenes, he doesn't want to be here.

Address the elephant in the room.
Players will never say it publicly.
But are they losing faith? It can't be easy to be thrashed physically and mentally for almost no reward and still maintain total loyalty
As fans we would like to think that players are blindly loyal to the man who got them here but that isn't the case in football and once doubts start to creep in this style will fall apart.

Ajax are far above us as you say but the performance were the clue imo.
You can lose and play well we have had 1 good performance since last season, Watford.
We can't play for 90mins and more worrying we are struggling to play 45mins.
Something isn't right, it hasn't been for a long time.
Can they fix it?
We’re poor atm a I said.
If it’s a minor superficial blip we can get past it, if it’s a deeper rooted malaise it remains to be seen. All sorts of variables, from players to management to ownership.

I really feel for all my pals at the game stood freezing their bollocks off watching a supposedly Premier League team performing like schoolboys.
To think I had an opportunity to go to the game, I'd have been fuming, I am now. Totally despaired with them tbh.
Yeah bless all those faithful fans, above and beyond today for a sham of a performance!
Probably be best to let Philips leave as we will get a better price than we will after relegation. MB, I fear have taken us as far as he can and all credit to him. At the end of the day its just another job to him and I truly think the board need to really decide if the Premier League is for them and if not hold their hands up and pass on to those with deeper pockets and ambition. The transfer dealings have been a joke, most of the players are not at this level and I can only see this going one way now.

Nothing to suggest this is the case. Maybe it’s fickle fans who are losing faith?

Yes I agree. Although the majority of these players would never have played PL football without Bielsa, so they are deluded. But this is why you freshen up the squad and keep it evolving.

We have just gone flat for whatever reason. Stamina? Talent? Unrest? Its almost like the players peaked last season and realized that was their maximum and have given in a little. We get glimpses like the first 45 last week but consistency has gone over the 90. We used to get stronger as the game wore on... no sign of that in the few games i have watched.
I think we are in a relegation fight. Any other team with a decent attacker today would have scored a couple. The way we are playing at the minute i'm not sure our savior PB will get much service either. We miss Ayling's balance, we miss Pablo's creativity and we miss Alioski's energy. The lb & rb positions are becoming a concern. Shack looked way off it today, Firpo was crap and i don't think its Dallas best position personally.

Absolutely abysmal. We have gone backwards with the awful starting selection. It will be embarrassing to even think of nicking this.
Had we nicked that game, it would have been akin to The Great Train Robbery.
