They played together at Liddypool so he would have some sway

As I said you cant knock the ambition at Villa.

Atleast they are decisive as well.

Digne is class I'd take him over Firpo 100%

Imagine they sign Countinho and Digne before we sign anyone . . . . .

Villa mean business!

Have I missed something?

Digne has made over an 100 appearances for the toffees & 40+ for France, but I can't recall him

How good is Digne?

Better than Firpo . . . .

Good player imo, probably a top 6 Left back in the league I'd say.

Not sure I agree with what they're doing. Just spending fortunes to finish midtable and then ffp will bite them in the arse. They're just following Everton's mistakes, by signing players not good enough for the top 6.

El Hadji Diouf is spitting mad at not being in the list.

Aston Villa have spent a lot of
money, on a lot of dross.
The Spurs of the Midlands.
I don't like Aston Villa or their deluded supporters.
They've done nufink of any note since I last pulled at the disco

They certainly have, even so they are only a point above Leeds, if results go our way this weekend we'd go above Villa :-D

Rodrigo Bentancur and Boubacar Kamara being targeted.

Two players who would walk into our first 11 (and far more proven than Brenden Aaronson) has to be said.

Young Jacob Ramsey looks one hell of a prospect out of the Villa academy

Watch his intelligent run for his first goal.

The lad was in his own half, before the ball reached Coutinho, Ramsey was making his run in anticipation of the pass from their new loan-signing, his young legs left Klich for dead as he helplessly chased Ramsey who slotted home beautifully to make it 2-1, his second goal was a cracker too as we got totally caught out in a crazy thirteen minutes.

Villa pre match thoughts

Coutinho gamble clearly paying off so far.

Top 10 form wise since Gerrard arrived.

Took a point off Manure.

Comfortably beaten Southampton and Brighton who we really struggled against.

And yet have lost to Newcastle, Brentford and Watford also under Gerrard and struggled against us despite how poor we have been.

Hard to know what to expect really.
