Ok, like Jane feckin McDonald, Alanis Morisette, former is pretty much a bog standard cruise singer who's had a touch with the documentary(fair play like) Alanis, limited vocal range, decent artist right enough, i bought her first album in fact.
Some really good artists on there, maybe they all are but being brutal and judging some solely on their actual vocal ability /range, some should be hoiked out.
All opinions of course..

So no bias i will simply put the contenders in this thing and spin.

For more crucial rounds like quarter finals or semi finals a new 1 day poll may be used but for these rounds then i think the spinner is fiar unless anyone objects?

I can see a case for both arguments.
Yes, it could have been “top five in order” like the MOTM thread but this way you get to hear vocalists you may not have heard of.
The only problem for me is I don’t have time or inclination to listen to them all.
I’ll try my best though.

I considered making it a 1 vote per person but i thought that could be a very short contest.

Figured it was better to allow everyone to have all their choices and then just cut it down with votes.

I wont listen to every song all the way through but i will have a short burst of all.

Once the Round 1 polls are done it becomes a much more manageable thing and much smaller.

Hynde's decent without being great... We'll get the usual suspects based on fame rather than talent making their way through these rounds so it'll appease most in the long run
