That's just not true. We have been dreadful all season, even when Bamford and Kalvin were in the side.

Played well against villa, west ham in league and cup beat Burnley and also were great against a good Chelsea team. Also unlucky against a different Newcastle team

Despite the frustration and whatnot this season I doubt any Leeds fan wanted it to end like this and if it is the end then it is a sad way to go out but doesn't change what he achieved here.

It also is criminal that Bielsa goes but People like Orta and Kinnear will remain

Had a feeling it would be mutual rather than an outright sacking, he deserved better than that. No one can take away what he achieved at this football club. I'm glad that his record won't be tainted with relegation either. It's a sad day, but unfortunately the right decision. It's been a special 3 years, which is what makes this season all the harder. Especially as we brought it on ourselves.

Forget where we are now, but how has Marcelo Bielsa made you feel over the last three and a half years?

How has be made you feel about football? How has he made you feel about the club, about Leeds as a city?

It’s very sad because I loved him up until about October then the cracks and flaws started to show. but there is only one man to blame for it and that’s Marcelo himself. Didn’t want signings in wanted a small squad then missies the players he had playing them out of position. Think he lost the dressing room with some of the players. I’d say mainly the new signings from last and this season. Some of the bizarre things he did including subbing player twice must have pissed them off. Playing Dan James upfront, a midfield pair of klich and rodrigo was suicide. Not using joffy etc etc Ayling at centre back. Premier league survival is the most important thing now and Marcelo hasn’t helped the cause with the stupid tactics against stronger teams. The other myth around him is youth. Only academy developed player to start more than 10 games is Jamie Shackleton, no one else. Clearly doesn’t believe in playing youth and would rather stick wingers upfront or right backs at centre back. In the end he lost the plot and now he’s gone I am glad. Maybe we might keep a clean sheet and see cresswell/ joffy get a run in the team.

Sounds like it's true. Not been this gutted since Ipswich which was along time ago. I thought he would leave at the end of the season when we would hopefully been mid table but it hasn't worked out that way.

my first Leeds match was in the 1985/86 season, so I've seen some dross at Elland Road in my time.

Some of the football I've seen us play under Bielsa has been the best I've ever seen from Leeds United.

Bielsa made his impact immediately too. That Stoke game in the glorious sun at Elland Road on the opening day of the season is a match i will always remember fondly. A few days later we destroyed Derby County.

In just 2 matches Leeds were unrecognizable from the season before.

Tonight i feel very sad.
