As long as he doesn't start with a prayer I guess a huddle is fine. We used to do huddles under someone, forget who.

No mention on here of Jesse's assertion after the game that the manner of the performance was more important than points.

I thought Marsch had been watcbing Leeds games for a while yet he still picks Firpo, Klich, Rodrigo and James, up front, and Roberts as a sub. 🤔

A sign of squad togetherness is back.

Not the case where certain players have walked straight down the tunnel at the final whistle, Rodrigo in particular.

Us fans deserve some appreciation & support from the players too!

I took some time to warm to Bielsa, I feel it is going to take a whole lot longer to warm to this one.

The huddle was cringe. The pounding of the chest was cringe.

This squad owe absolutely everything to Bielsa and they had better not forget that.

You forget Llorente, Hjeldi, Cooper & Phillips were unavailable with Bamford not ready yet, plus Forshaw was carrying a knock.

Firpo & James were excellent btw.

Would prefer a huddle at the start rather than the end. With my team I'd go over tactics etc in the changing room, we'd have our warm up on the pitch then a huddle just before the start to try to gee everyone up. Never felt the need to do one at the end especially when there is a changing room to head to.

H'mmm, i don't see John Waynes mentor Rangnicks Scum performing ever so well with his 4-2-2-2, are we going down this road?

Worrying times indeed.

Villa game's gonna give us a cracking indication of what he's all about V Bert, a win is an absolute must after tearing them apart in the 2nd half away, we're now at home with a full crowd no doubt, PB back and virtually a full squad to choose from.

No excuses.

Yup. They absolutely owe Bielsa for everything. For winning the Championship, for finishing 9th last year and for putting them and the club in real danger of relegation. All down to Bielsa. I’m just wondering what you’re point is.

Quite shocked with your rant yesterday, young lady

I notice you didn't predict Leeds to win or by your usual cricket score on Saturday.

I'm guessing no faith in our new coach?

Hardly a rant. Just voicing my opinion. No, not got much faith in the new coach at the moment, the jury is out. I also wasn't impressed firstly by bringing Roberts on and then leaving him on whilst injured!

Wasn't that a much improved performance v Leicester?

I can't recall you making any comments about our recent embarrassing battering's on the matchday/breakfast threads. New guy arrives, you are straight in giving him grief :(

Jesse Marsch needs to calm down a bit, all these in depth interviews and detailed explanations are a bit to much. Reminds me of Phil Brown when he managed Hull City, huddles in the centre circle and how his style will change the football club. After the honeymoon period is over, we can start to perfect the styles of play and move up the table. Unlucky with the result at Leicester but we have shown we can create chances and defend well for long periods.

Give it a chance, the difference is the Leeds players will work together as a team and the system will work.

It was but equally it could be said the West Ham performance was an improvement on performances before then. It isn't like the team has been awful all season and suddenly that was a performance that blew us all away (not like as an example Bielsa's first match in charge blew us all away as it was the same group of players that had been abysmal for at least half a season previously).

Yes we looked tighter defensively than in some matches, but we need to see how that continues. We have seen that some of the teams that have carved us open, Man City, Liverpool, Man U, Tottenham and Arsenal can do that to any team when they are playing well. Not seen enough of Leicester to know whether they are as capable of ripping teams open as those teams so at this point it is probably correct to say we looked better defensively but were also playing against a team not as good as some we have played recently. I have mentioned previously how Warnock came in and we looked better defensively in the first couple of games and then conceded 7 in a match so no point getting carried away after 1 match - not being negative as I thought we played well and looked to have a decent shape about us but also far too early to say everything is rosy.

Will be interesting to see what we do with Coutinho on Thursday as he was the key for them against us and played well at the weekend too.

Arsenal were capable of ripping us apart because they, like everyone else had sussed dragging our awful man to man system apart, Lacazette has been poor all season but was actually laughing and dictating against us, even scoring.
I agree however, we shouldn't get carried away just yet, but, we must give the manager time (which unfortunately he hasn't got much of this season) and hope whatever he implements pays off with immediate effect.

Although as good as the West Ham performance was we could quite easily have conceded five goals in the game, we were more clinical in front of goal though that day.

We've been ripped apart ten times, conceding three goals or more this season
