If Drameh can be the natural successor to Ayling then we are covered there.
Can Davis or indeed Hjelde or Pascal provide competition for Firpo then that may be useful.

Out of those loanees I think Bogusz might be the type of player who Marsch may be able to mound into his wide 10 which is also where I see Greenwood play.

So who has to leave imo?
Raph and Phillips look locked on to move. Phillips to Arsenal is my guess.
Roberts, but who wants him and why should he leave? I hope we can con either Rangers or Celtic to have him and if it is Rangers then give him to sweeten the deal for Kent if we still like him...
Last season there was interest in Bamford, if it is still there then I say get rid. Use any transfer dosh to spend big on a striker. Calvert Lewin if Everton drop, or Richarlison or Torney from Brentford would cost £40M but would be handy.

Defo need a senior keeper to push Meslier as he isnt improving imo.

In fact we should also be scouting Watford who have some very handy players and may have to offload if they drop.
JIsmalla Sarr would be the Raph replacement and Joao Pedro would be a decent back up striker

I don't think Leif Davis is coming back to Leeds. He's joining Bournemouth on a permanent at the end of this season.

If the club had any faith in Bogusz they'd have recalled him from his loan in January. He's another of these youngsters that i honestly don't think we'll ever see pull a Leeds shirt on. I hope I'm wrong because when i have seen him play,he looks ok.

Poveda destroyed his ankle whilst out on loan. A very nasty career ruining type of injury.

Think Costa will join Valencia on a permanent deal in the summer.

We don't have anywhere near enough money to sign that many players in one transfer window.

I think we should delve into the loan market for next season, or we're running the risk of breaking FFP rules.

If we're shrewd in the loan market it'll suit me.

Sell a couple to raise money and get them off the wage bill.

This is of course if we manage to avoid relegation. If we go down...... I honestly can't imagine what our squad will look like next season. If we think it's a small squad NOW, we're in for a rude awakening come August this year!

Drameh has a chance to be included next year, as does Bogusz. New manager, and new chance. I wonder if we would have looked at Bogusz again anyhow (until he got his injury that laid him off the rest of the season).

Wouldn't touch Richarlison with a barge pole as I just can't stand the sulky tw*t. However, DCL or Toney would be interesting to look at depending on what happens with each of their teams respectively. Same with Sarr at Waford, and I'd add Dennis from the hornets to that list too.

I definitely think we need a Raph replacement when he goes (Summerville for all his talent needs to bulk up more).
Replacement for KP when/if he leaves.
Competition for Bamford.
Top notch box-to-box MF who scores (Aaronson?).
Attacking midfielder like a Pablo/Coutinho-esque style.
Seasoned GK who can help/stand-in for Meslier.
LB for Firpo as I'm conceding I don't think he's the right fit for the PL.

Chances of all the above: close to zero. The first four to five would be in order of priority. We can dream right?

Not sure on outgoings, but beyond the unfortunate forced ones like Raph or KP I don't see too many other from the first 18 other than Roberts and Shackleton. Both Roberts and Shacks particularly need to re-ignite their careers. Gelhardt will be replacement for Roberts (and then some), and perhaps Bate can step up to replace Shacks.

To be sure, it won't be boring this summer! Cement our PL status and then see what the team have in their locker in the pre-seasons. Hopefully some of the younger players may surprise us.

Man Utd and Liverpool face Kalvin Phillips battle after fresh Leeds contract update.
Manchester United and Liverpool are among a host of Premier League clubs who are keen on Kalvin Phillips with the latest talks between Leeds and the England midfielder giving an indication about his future.

Kalvin Phillips is centre of a massive tug-of-war as Leeds battle their Premier League rivals for his signature.

West Ham claim they offered £50million for the England midfielder in the January transfer window and remain keen. Newcastle and Aston Villa are also big admirers while Manchester United and Liverpool have also shown interest as they both look for a midfielder this summer.

Now Phillips has handed Leeds a massive boost in their efforts to hold on to him by saying he is prepared to sign a new contract with them this summer. Leeds and Phillips have been keen to agree new terms for some time and the issue has been put on hold while the club try to secure their Premier League status.

Talks have also been held up because the boyhood Leeds fan is changing to a new agent at the end of the season. Phillips’ current deal, which is worth just over £25,000-a-week, expires in June 2024 and Leeds want to hand him a pay rise to reflect his progress since then for club and country. Phillips, 26, has told Leeds chairman Andrea Radrizzani and his board that he is happy to sign a new deal at the end of the season.

Phillips has never wanted to leave his boyhood club and rejected interest from Burnley and a potential £26million move to Villa to agree his last contract in 2019. His focus is on helping Leeds reach safety and he will make his first appearance since December 5 against Southampton at Elland Road on Saturday after recovering from his hamstring operation. Leeds also hope to revive contract talks with Raphinha at the end of the season and negotiations with him are on hold as well.

Like Phillips, the Brazil winger is under contract at Elland Road until June 2024 and Leeds opened talks with his agent Deco just before Christmas. Leeds’ director of football Victor Orta held a second round of talks with Deco earlier this year before they stalled. Leeds are prepared to make Raphinha their best-paid player in the club’s history and the main sticking point is over his release clause.

Raphinha, who is their top scorer this season with 11 goals, wants an exit clause with a relatively-low value to help him leave when he decides to go. Leeds understand his argument, but want a higher value to reflect his standing as one of Europe’s most-coveted players.

Leeds are also not going to agree a release clause now, when one currently does not apply in the Premier League, until they secure their top-flight status. Raphinha is wanted by Barcelona and the Spanish giants are confident they can agree terms with him to land him this summer.

They feel they can lure him to the Nou Camp because of the draw of playing for one of the biggest clubs in the world. President Joan Laporta has confirmed their interest and says they have spoken to former Barca star Deco, who has given them “great reports” on him. “Raphinha is a great player,” said Laporta. “We have got great reports on him from Deco. Deco has his job and informs us of details so we don’t make mistakes and he is someone who has helped us a lot.”

Thought this was April fools but its not.

Tottenham are interested in Jack Harrison after he was recommended for some inexplicable reason by the Legendary Andrea Pirlo to Spurs DOF and close friend of Pirlo Fabio Paratici.

Ask for £30mil with English player tax and snap there hand off if they get close.

Absolutely delighted if we can get something like that for Harrison who whilst you can never fault his commitment he has benefited more than most for the attacking style helping to pad his stats.

In a less attacking team he'd struggle to get a few goals and assists a season.

Tremendously frustrating player who had the occasional great game but is usually dreadful with no in-between.

And quite simply Jesse Marsch doesn't use wingers in the traditional sense, very narrow style.
