spot on as i said you were never going down , even under Marcelo you weren't going down Leeds are Leeds and not even marsch or anyone coming in will change that, 1-1 draws too 3-0 away wins that's what makes Leeds special the culture has changed within the club.

i could see that right from the start I've watched worse Newcastle teams scrape relegation ,than this leeds side thats my experience of the English premier league .

you play far too good football , the desire to press and win games no chance in hell you were getting relegated the next step is keeping the likes of Phillip's and Raphs ambitions wages wise and hopefully European football .

if radz cant give leeds and the supporters that move over and allow someone else , i dont care if people say I'm a fan boy or whatever I've had years of people saying newcastle are s**t they arent a big club etc , they laughed at us when we were down who the f**k is laughing now ?

Can't see Norwich or Watford getting out of it. Norwich's only wins since December have seen them beat Everton, Burnley and Watford so basically they have only managed to beat other teams in the bottom 4. They have also scraped 2 draws (Palace and Brighton) since December too. No reason at all to suggest they can get out of it. Watford have looked like they have been playing well but can't get points and their home form (9 defeats in a row) is appaling. To get out of danger you really need to be winning the home matches (Everton have an absymal away record but 2 wins from their last 2 home matches have been huge for them). At 7 and 6 points behind 4th bottom Everton it is hard to see them getting enough points to overtake Everton now and that would be assuming Everton din't pick up any more points.

We're stil in danger, make no bones about it. 33 points may be enough given it would mean Burnley having to take 9 points from 8 matches or Everton 5 from 8 matches to catch us. As I have stated though on another thread our results in the corresponding fixtures to the 6 matches we have left saw us only take 3 points so there is no reason to suggest we would get more than the equivalent points as despite the upturn in form it has seen us picking up 10 points from the last 6 fixtures in matches that we'd taken 9 points from when we played those teams earlier in the season. 33 points may be enough however it may not and likewise 36 may not be enough. A couple of wins should defiinitely see us safe though.

I think the bottom 3 will remain that, I'd love Fwank to take The Toffies down, but we may have to wait till next season for that, I think we are now safe, unless we implode, but I think Marsch has been appointed to do a job, and that is keeping us up, which I 'm beginning to think he will

I'd say Brentford are safe, but Newcastle are not out of it yet if they have a bad run. 36 is the magic number to stay up IMO.

Got a few mates who are Burnley fans so not wanting to tempt fate I've not been giving them grief yet. Saving that for when they are definitely down.

However, as long as it’s possible to be caught I won’t rest easy. We’ve seen some crazy results in the last days days and that’s how it goes in the run to the seasons’ end. Leeds United are more than capable of completely fu**ing this up and not picking up a single point from our remaining matches.

If such a scenario WAS to happen, 33 points would NOT be enough to keep us in the Premier league this season, imo.

Last seasons 'safe haven' of 29 points was an anomaly.

Traditionally, the cut-off in the Prem is 36/37 points, and that's what it'll be this season too, imo.

Both Everton and Burnley should not be written off.

They will both pick up points between now and the end of May, and things will get very tense for all of us.

The narrative i see on the forum implying that 'we're safe' is one i just can't understand or agree with.

Of the seven teams ahead of us, up to ninth position, we’ve played a total of eleven games against them and we’ve only won one of those games. Currently six of them have at least one game in hand on us.

We’re behind them because we deserve to be there.

More importantly, we need to improve this record rapidly if we are to get the points we need to survive. Thinking of ninth will be for next year.
