After 3 wonderful seasons they were woeful for the last season. Yes we did have a lot of injuries but since he left I believe several people including some of the players have expressed their belief that Bielsa's intense training regime helped to exacerbate this.

Jesse enters the picture. He has no say in the players available. He can't simply conjure up a striker and a good attacking midfielder and a decent left back. He is attempting to get the team playing a different way with virtually no time to accomplish this.

Despite all of these disadvantages, the teams results are basically the same as Bielsa achieved with all his advantages.

Yes we haven't got a great record there but the last time we played them at their pitch we were comfortably the better side despite the 1-1 draw. The only fear I have going there is the regression of the team although hopefully we may start to click and play better soon - or scrape a 0-0.

Yes, mate. It is.

Our next 3 matches are write offs.

Then we play 2 bogey teams.
We could play Brighton at ER and field a team of 25 players and we'd still find a way to lose.
The ER crowd isn't an advantage, these players have proven time and time again they can't cope with the pressure at ER.

Brentford away. Is as good as a write off. If i had to stick my neck out I'd say we'll do well to get a draw.

Sorry for the negativity, but i feel we totally blew it last night.
We HAD to win that game, imo. And just look at what was delivered.

I'd love to disagree with you Rook but I'm struggling to find an argument except to say that hopefully Burnley won't continue their good run and Everton continue to faulter...that's the best I can do.

Orta comes on the forum ?

Right, after we just scabbed all the points we did against Watford, Wolves, Naaarch - i thought he's been a jammy ba***rd coming in at just the right run of fixtures to get his style ( what fcking style!) into the players and he's scabbed himself a nice cushion of points on which to build confidence (and i was actually confident) into these players to go out in these last 6 and pizz easy get 7/8ish points maybe more. After last nights whatever it was performance, i'm fcking worried like hell we cannot beat any of the remaining teams.

To get anything from Citeh Arsenal Chelsea we need them to please not turn up, Brentford since Erikson have been playing some good attractive attacking footy, the only thing i can see is we play Brighton at HOME and if they're safe at that point, they'll tear us apart as well.

This now could well be our points total.

Not sure Brighton will tear anyone apart tbh. Maybe gently peck you a little bit but being as they are a seagull I suppose they might steal your chips. It’s going to come down to Brentford, I’ve been thinking that for some time as have others on here. The ultimate game is nigh

I'll tell ya what, this 'different way' if last night is anything to go by should be immediately put on the back burner until June.

The best thing he can do now, would be to hold his hand up and say ' look guys there just isn't enough time left to get my crazy 4-2-2-2 into your thick skulls and i want you to forget everything i've said since i've been here and just go back to what Bert taught you'

' We'll reconvene again if we stay up, kiss and fcking cuddle each other to death, and then get back to work on what i want to achieve in the summer'........' I need to go and read a good few more books'

Then we need to hope PSG offer him £1m a week to fck off to them.

We play Arsenal at a time when they will be needing a win for top 4, Everton play them last game when by that time it’s likely top 4 will be settled and Arsenal players are on the beach. Chelsea not playing great at the moment,Chelsea players love lampard (god knows why) we play them a few days before a cup final, likely changes are made but with their squad it’s still tough and players that come in will want to get themselves in the managers thoughts for the final. I don’t profess to be mystic Meg, just my thoughts on what might happen and I admit to some pessimism on the Leeds fixtures and optimism on the opponents but that’s just my mind set.

I’ve no idea what you’re on about in the first two paragraphs but, as you’ve previously suggested, I’m sure you’ll be so delighted you’ll be crying with laughter if the scenario given in the last statement comes true. I tend to agree with you here. The vagaries of this part of the season can be cruel or helpful depending on who you are. So many weird games. Teams with nothing to play for can be dangerous when you’re desperate. My dream said we play Brentford needing a point to guarantee survival. The worst case scenario

And this Troll hasn't a choice in us getting pummelled, if Citeh somehow manage to draw tonight, the person most relieved Bert isn't in charge on Saturday will be Pep, coz he can put out his 3rd's now and not worry a jot.

Bert would've made him think.

Despite their current league position ( and points tally ), i find it unfathomable that Everton will be relegated.

Burnley, i recently described as the ' Michael Myers of football ', Everytime you think they're dead they pop up behind you!

The weakest link in this relegation trio dogfight is my own club.

A club with a history of bottling matches when it matters most.

And the crumbling whilst under pressure 'trait' isn't something exclusive to this current Leeds side.
I have witnessed dozens of Leeds United sides over the years, falling to pieces when the pressure is on.
THIS current lot need to now start to fkn deliver the goods on the pitch.

Last night's game, in my opinion, is is a great example.

I DON'T want to see a smiley happy Kalvin Phillips doing interviews on SKY after such a torpid display, in which he says 'it was a good point'

NO KALVIN. It WASN'T a 'good point'

We needed to bloody beat Crystal Palace. And NONE of you turned up!

I'll be at Elland Road on Tuesday nights next season against Stoke and Reading Etc, How many of these useless Leeds players will be there too?

FKN NONE OF THEM!

Palace was grim but Everton was on another level.

Seen the two compared.

Everton was the most embarrassing performance of the season especially when you consider where Everton were at the time and are now.

Villa and Palace don't come close.

Everton was a shambles.
