Jesse will need the tools to work with, we can't go with much of this first team next season, especially if we lose Phillips & Raphinha.

We may have got the essential victory required today. however we defended like schoolboys at times just as we have done all season.

The thing I like most about JM is that he will play young players, even at the expense of senior ones if he thinks they can do a better job.
Greenwood for Klich was an example of that today.
It's absolutely scandalous that Gelhardt had so little involvement earlier in the season with Bamford missing.

I agree. Gelhardt, Greenwood, Cresswell, Bate, Hjelde, Drameh all likely to be more involved next year. But obviously we need 3 or 4 top signings too - probably as replacements for players that will leave.

Indeed, Marsch was the answer to the question of our survival. We were going down quicker than a lead balloon under his 'predecessor'. I am grateful to Marsch for that, is he a long term solution? I have my doubts, but he deserves a fair chance.

I have not asserted that JM was a great appointment. I've offered background on his Managerial record. And have said that results will speak for themselves. The fact that you can't or won't defend your assertion that he was the wrong pick "from day one", and instead tried to deflect back to me tells me you really don't have a well thought out analyses. Which is fine. I was just curious as to your thought process.

Think that will be the case. I would expect 3 or 4 first team signings and then more if we need to replace. I don't see us buying more than that or goign towards a huge squad but feel that the youngsters mentioned will be seen as fully part of the first team squad as they will all be a bit lder, a bit stronger and in some cases a bit more experienced in first team football.

Our players love Jesse, which is the most important aspect of his management, even though a section of our fans are not keen on him.

I'm struggling to understand why he is so disliked, maybe I'm reading the signs wrongly.

I love his passion & the way he celebrates like us football fans do at games.
