As an American that watches him play a LOT I will say yes at 30M. He is a skillful player with a good football brain. I have some concern whether he can match the physicality of the Premier League. But he is the type of player LUFC needs. There is a lot of upside. And he is still only 21 years old.

If he is technically strong, with good awareness and turn of foot then he will do well. The modern game does not require the level of physicality previously needed. Players can buy a free kick for falling over their own feet.
All I know is what has been reported concerning his work rate and promise. There are few real bargains to be had these days as any player showing promise is soon touted by all and sundry.

That will need a lot of treads on the under 23's. Probably a good dozen or more .
Don't know much at all about Aaronson to draw any conclusions .Adds to much needed numbers though I guess .

I'm in the ''I don't know' camp as I haven't seen Aaronson play.

My knowledge on the Premier League is good, the European stuff not so good.

As, Chilli and 64 above………and watching an edited compilation of video clips can make most players look like world beaters 😀

We've been there previously so many times, Cat.

Aaronson maybe a sensational signing :duno:

At 30M yes for me if we sell James and Rodrigo.
He has the potential to eclipse what either of those two have done for Leeds

£30m? It's £24m.

Yes for me. Looks a talented player and a good season in the PL will see his value sky rocket. Leipzig and AC Milan are also interested, so will be a coup imo.

These are the kind of signings we should be making, not rejects from the top 6.

I went no because of doubts over the level he has played at.

£30mil would be the most expensive sale in RED Bull Salzburg's history.

I've not seen anything of him, what is he a 10 ?

We have a helluva lot of gash now Berts gone that i don't feel any manager can get something from, Dallas, Ayling, Cooper etc will be nowhere near Premier level under ANY other manager, i don't know how big Jesse wants to play but fck me he's got a rebuilding task on his hands if he changes formation to anything like 4-2-3-1, we might be dependant on him drilling the youth into what he wants and that's scary. A lot depends on buys n sells.
Not dependent on Google, the www or 'stats' - Just a guy that puts his eyes to full use on the beautiful game :geek: ...That Ayling goal and "You couldn't script it  " - Dirty Leeds B@stard.
Must dash.

Great idea Faaip. We have a lot of 'experts' on here who are always right after the event or change their mind after writing players off (like with Conor Gallacher).

I know nothing about him but the relevant facts seem good.

Playing for a team that has been reasonably competive at champions league level - okay no idea on the relative strength of the Austrian League but at least he is playing for the best team which suggests he is good enough for them and it isn't like the team is getting thrashed in the champions league every game.

Playing for the USA side. Hard to know the strength of how good the USA team is but I think they have come a long way since being almost the joke side with the Billy Connoly lookalike Alexei Lalas playing for them.

So for the fee it seems a reasonable gamble. £25m these days buys you a championship player so on paper he is mor eimpressive than that. It is also in a position where we need a signing so am not going to sit on the fence, like many already seem to have done, and am going to say Yes.

I don't know enough about him ,but, what I do know is this, we badly need additional players, he looks good from what I've seen, but, we've seen this all too often, if we get him, or indeed anybody else, we have to get them early, pre-season and help them bond before the season starts.
I f he can unlock a few defences, then I'm all for him, he could do well with Greenwood and Bate in midfield.
