Tell me an England coach that's done better in the past 56 years

Dislike Gareth all you want. But in my 40+ years of watching England play, nobody has been as successful as him. I'll take that regardless of whether I like his style, personality, or dress sense.
Wotcha think this morning Andrew, about Englands performance yesterday against a complete team of nobodies ?

I didn't recognise a single player on that Hungary team,

Absolutely fcking abysmal.

But what's your thoughts?

I see Maguire is still our main CB, quality forwards will have a field day against him in the World Cup.

England were a dull boring outfit with absolutely no idea.....maybe fatigued? Or a manager too defensive?

C'mon beautiful Swan you've got eyes, Southgate is a complete waste of space, he's clueless at attacking football, wtf has he ever done, how the hell is he in this job, get Bert in, or at the very least give it to Howe if we have to go English.

Get Gareth out NOW if we want to see these young players fulfil their potential, this numptie will need to be pushed out coz the dick won't take it upon himself to say 'look i'm not the man to take this team any further and they deserve better'

Jeez if someone like Germany had all this talent at their disposal they'd be world beaters of that i have no doubt.

It's so frustrating.

I see what you're saying re fatigue, but jeez when you pull your England shirt on it should lift you so much that it's not even a problem, you should pull your guts out to win and think ' i can always rest tomorrow' there's not enough of that attitude.

I hope we are making notes of things like this when people enquire for our players.

So based on that then KP is worth atleast £70mil.

And Raphinha is nearer £80mil.

Tbh, these Nations League matches are pointless, especially as the season only concluded a couple of weeks ago. Players need a rest to recharge their batteries, bearing in mind it's going to be a long 2022/23 season, particularly with the World Cup tournament in the middle of the domestic campaigns.

Absolute madness playing these games - especially with a world cup round the corner. All the top players will be completely knackered.

Apparently, bielsaball didn't knacker our players out, so, why would nations league games !!!!!
For the record, I think the games are pointless, but, you can't have it both ways.

There was a record amount of soft tissue muscular injuries in the premier league this season, not just Leeds. It is madness that there is such a little break for international players, especially as it follows on from 2 shortened end of seasons due to the covid situations. Fatigue caused by not having a proper rest is the reason. What is the point of this nations league sh*te anyway, just Fifa and Uefa coining it in and international players suffering for it.

Does anyone really want to see KP playing for England this summer rather than having a full end of season rest?

Chelsea the latest team to be linked to KP.

I've got a good deal.

Armando Broja and Connor Gallagher in exchange. . . .

I don't know if you actually read what I put, but I did say I too think they're pointless, no , I don't want to see any of our players being overused, you would think the clubs would have a word like.
Notice your'e now saying record amount of soft tissue injury, glad it wasn't the ex manager eh.

Fifa and Uefa been coining it for many years. I remember the days when Champions League was just the Champions of each Country and the holders, and after the season ended we had the Home Internationals. Seemed a lot more fun, but I guess nothing like as profitable as the current format 🤑
