Reading reports that Barca are reliably back in the hunt with the odds drfiting away from Chelsea and back toward Barca. Seems they have managed to find some money, but from what juggling the finances I don't know. If true, then at least the Chelsea fee will have driven up the fee for Barca (unless we're getting Firpo's third cousin removed in part-ex).

Barca would still need to get the money into our bank before any transfer, it would need t obe more than Chelsea's offer 0f 60M most of which to be paid upfront. If Barca can afford 61 plus with say 50 in cash then we'll let Chelsea know...

It's blatantly obvious he doesn't want to join Chelsea.

I don't blame Raph for this saga though.

Deco is the one who is meant to look after him and has clearly sold Raph this unobtainable dream.

Play for Barcelona.
Play under the Legendary Xavi.
Follow in the footsteps of Ronaldinho and Ronaldo and Romario.

Any Brazilian from Raph's poor background dreams of this stuff and Deco knows that.

Bet Deco is on commission from Barcelona to.

Genuinely couldn't agree with you anymore to be fair. He needs to break away from Deco ASAP before he destroys his career.

Deco is still in Barcelona.

Also Chelsea apparently made a last minute attempt to hijack Richarlison's move to Spurs.

Seems odd.

Maybe they have heard that Raph doesn't want the move?

Why would he want to leave Deco if Raphihna's dream move is to go to Barcelona? If Raphihna has his heart set on Barca then it would appear Deco is doing all that he can to get his client his dream move.

Barcelona have announced that they have sold 10% of tv rights for the next 25 years to US Global investment firm Sixth Street Partners for £230million.

They will receive approximately £178million immediately.

They also hope to sell 49.9% of retail operation Barcelona Licensing and Merchandising for somewhere around the £170-260million mark.

They will be allowed to use a portion of this potential £300million+ windfall to improve the squad.

It would really sting if he turned out for another PL club against us next season

Plus they have something going with Spotify..

Time for Orta to play hardball.

We have to remember that whatever fee we get there is a sell on free due to Reinnes.
Probably quite high too.

If that £175m comes Leeds way it would be nice , I suppose nearer to half realistically but you can hope 😀.
I don't mind him winning stuff with Barca , I can accept that .I don't like Chelscum winning anything whatsoever , I won't even watch any match that they are involved in, I refuse point blank to watch Chelscum , or Everton as well while a certain ex Chelscum chav is manager there .

Still a Leeds player same as phillips, nothing done either way as yet.
LUFC need to play hard ball with the spanish lot, if they are ready to inherit a huge amount of money, we need to have some, much more than the alleged derisory offer thus far.
His dream move is barca, thanks to chelsea rent boys for pushing up his price, C'mon, Radz, don't buckle.
