Looks lovely Muppet. We're lucky enough to be surrounded by two rivers, both have beautiful riverside walks.....Muppet the Cat wrote: ↑Thu Apr 21, 2022 5:41 pm Lovely down by the Taff on my daily lap of Bute Park

Went into town this morning and witnessed 4 druggies brawling outside KFC.
All of them were off their heads. Police arrived shortly after.
It was absolute carnage.

Kentucky Derby day here in the USA.
Have a friend who's both a massive Liverpool fan and a master woodworker. He's built an exact replica of his favorite pub in his basement, including hand-pulled real ales. Going to watch Scousers and Spurs followed by the races from Churchill Downs.

Re: What are you doing today ?
Just watched that sack of shite
I realise it's only a friendly and we are still trying out 20 odd players, but, it annoys me the way we laked today.
Anyway, go for a walk with the dogs then sit and relax round the lake.
Big bash up north east tomorrow for an old comrade who sadly passed away too early, hotel booked, looking forward to seeing so many old faces, will no doubt be a drunken few days, at our age, we ought to keep our pants on now

Re: What are you doing today ?
Not going/been out this evening
We (myself and wife) did have two tickets to see Tears For Fears (with Alison Moyet) at Cardiff Castle this evening, but a week or so ago Curt Smith fractured a rib and so this evening’s show (along with some others - I think Leeds may have been one of them) was cancelled.
I like a bit of TFF as well and hadn’t seem them live before………………..and still haven’t now

I would have been sick as a pig if I'd missed out on The Delines last week.
Cracked or bruised ribs are very painful, affects one sleep of course, so one is constantly tired & in pain.
