That would go a long way to keeping us at a decent Premier League level.
Think I heard yesterday we only had a handful of home wins all last season (cjay will clarify it I'm sure) . Everton stayed up purely getting most home league points in the division so it's vital we make ER a fortress and 2 wins from 2 suggests we're getting there.

Tuchel looks like the kind of bloke who has bad breath and a hygiene problem.
Don't know why, just get dirty minging vibes about him.
Couldn't even bring himself to admit they they were outplayed and beaten by a better team on the day
Couldn't agree more. He's definitely the new Ferguson. If the score had been 3-2 he'd have expected the ref to keep playing until they equalised

We only won 4, against the relegated 3 and a 95th min penalty against Palace.

Apparently Chelsea need to spend even more money I thought Gallagher was meant to be a £50m player lol?
Chelsea's new owner is having fun playing CM with his cheat codes it seems.
£60M here £60M there, he really needs to find a DOF and for them to sit down with a plan.
As for Gallagher. Quality player but Leeds snuffed him out yesterday.
' "Football is about the people and the players,” he said. “Then there are those who will mingle in the middle: the coaches, executives and journalists. That last group represents the worst part about football" Marcelo Bielsa

I think we need to almost forget last season (learn lessons for sure) in terms of how we see the team. Finishing 9th in our first season flattered us and similarly last season without the injuries we'd have not been in the relegation fight. This season is a new dawn, 4 new players in the starting line up, a different manager, 2 key players no longer with us. I think now we have seen that we can move forward with Marsch, we can play with the swagger we used to - I think yesterday's performance has hopefully eased worries and will now enable this team and the fans to move forward without looking back. Marsch now has given himself a bit of credit in the bank, he has shown what he can do and what he can get the team to do. It's all about his team now and sure there will be bad performances in the future but we don't need to think that a bad performance is the limit of him or the team. We won't hit the heights of yesterday every match but we now know that there are real reasons to be optimistic rather than blind faith.

I've pretended to support a team that's been crap for most of my life as part of a long term plan

Four - Watford, Palace, Burnley & Norwich
Victories at ER this season against much higher level teams, Wolves & Chelsea
Tuchel was a sore loser abit like AJ on sat night. When you get schooled like they did they are fighting the feeling of inferiority. I have only had a quick look around YT at what the Chelski fans have been saying and nearly all of them are in agreement that Leeds battered them and there was only one team that wanted it.
What a performance. All the elements coming together in Defence, Midfield and in attack to give us a complete, almost perfect performance against one of the best teams in the PL who have, and no doubt now will carry on throwing Billions at it. Personally i felt more satisfied watching that performance than anything under Marcelo and that's not detracting from the swashbuckling football we played under Marcelo, i loved it like the rest of us but it had its obvious weaknesses.....that performance was strong in all departments for me. If we can stay free on injuries and keep a good level of consistency it should be a comfortable season again.
Seeing that interview with Harrison and Aaronson in the opening post of this thread, plus yesterday's tunnel interview with Rodrigo, really emphasizes that we have intelligent people all around the team to compliment Marsch's obvious intelligence. When you throw in Klich and Bamford alongside Adams, Llorente, and Koch, they seem a cultured bunch. It requires players of intelligence to deliver Marsch's tactics, perfectly executed yesterday.
On the topic of Harrison. I said in a thread sometime this summer (can't be arsed to find it) that he will have an outside chance of making the World Cup squad if he has a blistering start to the season, which he has so far. I think a few players are also thinking the same way: Rodrigo, Llorente, Koch, and even Roca to name a few.
As for Marsch, got it right yesterday in every aspect. Like others have said, we will suffer defeats, but this performance goes a long way to alleviating concerns of how we will fare this season. He has managed to cut out conceding tons of goals and also improved our discipline. These two things are worth a point in their own right when totting up the totals at the end of the season.

Still on it from yesterday, a win like that has me mining the media for all the articles to relive it from all perspectives.
I wouldn’t call it a revolution at Leeds more an evolution of What Bielsa started - there were weaknesses in areas we all shouted about at one time or another - set pieces, reckless tactics and man marking - This doesn’t diminish what Marsch has done, he has done remarkably well to fix these issues, nor does it diminish Bielsa, he had his ideas and he started the revolution in the first place.
Harrison should not be sold for any price such is his value to Leeds, he is only getting better and must be worthy of an England call up - over 50 million would be hard to turn down but if Morgan gibbs white is worth 42 million then how could anyone argue at that price.
Well stated! Club Management always saw JM as the man to succeed MB. And there were reasons for that. Like so many other Managers JM was influenced by the ideas of Bielsa. And then he adapted them into his own tactical philosophy and style of play. Yesterday we got to see the system in all its glory. Perfectly executed the way it's supposed to work. And it's not wrong to see it as part of the evolution of the club.
Here in the US NBC shows some of the EPL games on its subsidiary USA Network which is available to almost every household in the country on cable television. All other games are shown on Peacock, a streaming service available for a fee. The big clubs usually are on the USA network for an obvious reason: they generate the most advertising revenue.
Leeds have gotten so popular so quickly that NBC has moved Saturday's game off of Peacock and onto the USA Network.
After that performance, i don't think PB should walk back into the team, the three backing up Rodrigo worked their tits off along with him, if you disrupt it i think you weaken it.
Not dependent on Google, the www or 'stats' - Just a guy that puts his eyes to full use on the beautiful game ...That Ayling goal and "You couldn't script it " - Dirty Leeds B@stard.
Must dash.
