Re: Chelsea Thread - Blues sign Cucurella for £60m
Chelsea have also signed 18-year-old midfielder Carney Chukwuemeka from Aston Villa for £20m.
Chukwuemeka, who starred in England's Under-19 European Championship triumph in July, has agreed a six-year deal.
He was left out of Villa's pre-season tour to Australia after refusing to sign a new contract.

Jorginho's goal at Goodison was Chelsea's 139th penalty in the Premier League, the most of any team, one ahead of Liverpool.

Re: Chelsea Thread
RB Leipzig are expected to complete the signing of Chelsea forward Timo Werner on a permanent deal, two years after he left the club for the Premier League.
Chelsea met the Germany international's £45m release clause in 2020 but will make a loss, with Werner set to return in a deal thought to be around £25m.

Re: Chelsea Thread
This was almost like going back to the days of Chelsea v Leeds matches, not quite because today's players are soft & cheats as opposed to hard & fair, all handbag stuff really!

Was thinking the same. I would of thought we would get more for Phillips and raph than Everton would for richarlison and Gordon - not only did we get less but it’s about 20 million less!

Re: Chelsea Thread
So Chelsea are prepared to pay £60mil for Anthony Gordon and have had a £70mil bid for Wesley Fofana rejected.
Chelsea have already spent £170mil and are prepared to go over £300mil in total.
It's absolutely insane.

Re: Chelsea Thread
Someone on here says Tommy Tuke has a personal hygiene problem yet Chelsea spend 170 mill on players and refuse to buy him some Rightguard. Scandalous
I declare my love for Saint Daniel and I can shoehorn him in to any conversation.

Re: Chelsea Thread
Chelsea are close to completing the deal for Wesley Fofana.
It will take there spending past £250mil this summer with only £40mil coming in and a transfer loss over the last 5 years of roughly £400mil.

Re: Chelsea Thread
They’re probably using the Covid exemption like Everton did. Also getting the spending done now before the new EUFA rules come into effect
