Looking at that departures list and adding to it Rama, Schmidt, Mes, Gyabi and whoever else that may end up departing - This is Farkes list and his doing, I actually agree entirely with the list that's been booted btw (not sure about Rama, but i'll trust his judgement that he isn't ready and it might still come good, Rama's tweet suggests it could).

In doing this, blame now lies entirely with Farke as far as i'm concerned, he's been backed and I think most of them he agrees with.

Basically now, it's sink or swim - You've made your bed Daniel, crack on and play them how you see fit Champ

Leeds United can confirm winger Largie Ramazani has joined La Liga side Valencia CF on a season-long loan deal.

The attacker arrived at Elland Road at the beginning of last term and in his maiden campaign for the Whites, he scored seven times in all competitions for Daniel Farke’s side enroute to the Sky Bet Championship title.

A first goal for Leeds came in a 2-0 victory over Cardiff City on just a third appearance for Ramazani. Largie notably then grabbed a brace in a memorable 4-0 demolition of Bristol City in the final fixture at Elland Road.

The 24-year-old joins Carlos Corberán’s squad at the Mestalla who will be keen to build on an impressive end to the previous term which saw the team produce a strong run of form to finish in midtable.

Everyone at Leeds United would like to wish Largie all his best during his time away from the club.

Leeds United can announce Isaac Schmidt has joined Werder Bremen on loan for the remainder of the 2025/26 Bundesliga campaign.

The Swiss defender joined the Whites last summer and was a regular member of the squad which helped to secure promotion as champions back to the Premier League.

Schmidt made 14 appearances for Daniel Farke’s side across all competitions last season but now heads out on loan to the German side in search of more game time.

Everyone at Leeds United wishes Isaac well during his time at the Weserstadion.

Yes early days BB, it does look like quantity yes, i'm trying to look at it through rotation purposes, and it looks better if i just keep telling myself - 'we just need to avoid the drop in this first year, we're not trying to win a Champions league spot, just focus on beating those we can'
Still waiting to see his best team, and what Sept 1st may yet bring
I honestly feel this Okafor -'light groin issue' is really a - 'He's carrying a bit of timber, not 100% up to speed after now seeing him in the flesh v Weds'
Going with last years team should still give Newcastle a game at home.
I'm interested in your thoughts on Aaronson starting v Newcastle, the majority on here don't seem to like him at all, I still feel there could be a place for him whilst we are fighting teams in the bottom third of the Prem, does he do anything for you when you see him in he flesh at any matches you go to?

Some of it has to be guess work from us - Let's say they have x amount to spend, so where/how do they spend it, 3 marquee or build a bigger squad?
They must have sat with Farke and all discussed the best way forward - And Farke has bad past experience twice with Norwich failing him, Shirley those 2 years taught him something, because if you lose those 3 marquee signings to injury like Farke may have done with some Norwich players, does that leave you too bare?

So has he learned from that past experience he needs depth in numbers to rotate like for like, not disturbing the set up too much?

If he plays basically our championship team against Newcastle, no, he hasn't learned past issues.

Farke needs to select our big lads to compete against the physicality of the barcodes tomorrow.

That said, quite frankly, with the injuries to Ampadu and Tanaka, we haven’t got a great deal of choice in the midfield three. Stach, Longstaff, Gruev, Aaronson perm any three from four mate.
