A win is always a good result, but I will reserve my judgement until I can SEE them play.

Well IMO the substitutions were timed right! But i do think Colin replaced people with the wrong players. Surely he Took off Diouf and Thomas with Tuesday in mind??? and also being 2-0 up. It worked in a way really we still got the needed result against a side no one gave us a chance against?

He did replace the wrong players...maybe they were knackered & NW had the Foxes game in mind. Once the changes were made Becchio & McCormack (everyone's favourite strike-force ) never got a kick as they failed to hold onto the ball. Last week Super Ross came on & failed to track his man back as Millwall scored their winning goal...we nearly screwed up yesterday in the last fifteen minutes once again

I wasn't at the game but it baffled me why Poleon got on ahead of Hall. It seemed a very odd decision to chuck a rookie into the fray at such a vital point of the game and, indeed, the season. At least Warnock had the balls to correct the error by subbing the sub, but it could have been very costly, and makes me wonder about his decision-making. Killing for Poleon's confidence,too.

I reckon he brought on Brown for Poleon to wind the clock down & because we were on the back foot & we required more defensive cover, to be fair Brown made a couple of decent blocks in the last minute...we should never been in that position in the first place had he not taken Diouf off, we were in control & El Hadji is the only player who can hold onto the ball & keep the pressure off our defence, many fans will tell you Ross can do the same job

Over the moon with this win. My lad was chuffed to bits, Leeds beat palace 10-2 on is FIFA 13 last night.
This take over as really filled the team with confidence.

Yesterday's was the strangest bench I have ever seen! A goalkeeper (obviously), one midfielder (Brown) and five attacking players in White, Poleon, Gray, McCormack and Hall. When we had to put up the shutters right at the end of normal time, he only had Browny to bring on to shore up the defence for Palace's all-out attack. I know we are short of defenders, but what the hell is going on?
Having said that, great display, wonderful result, and just the ticket for New Leeds!

By the way, although we didn't leave until the final whistle as usual, as we got back to our car, we heard a huge uproar from the stadium. Anyone stay around long enough to know what that was about? Did GFHC do a lap of honour or summat?

Two of our most potent attacking players v Palace & they are rated less than a player who cannot control a football & runs around like a headless chicken & Ross manages a 4 even though he didn't get a kick

I had no problems with bringing Poleon on, but it should have been for one of the two up front. Brown/hall should have been brought on for Thomas. Not a stupid substitution for the time of the game, just a silly positional change as usual.

If he replaced Becchio, with all the long balls happening, he might have been able to get behind the line.

Once again we almost lost points due to the manager.
