He's been here 3 seasons...it's already been proven..Hopefully once Blackstock is up to speed we'll be able to play Ross in his best position..off the bench as a short term difference maker...

I insisted McCormack should be on the bench at the start of last season & somehow he has been allowed to be Mr Untouchable as he continues to put in an occassional decent performance & still retain his place in the team...is it any wonder we are just a mid-table team

Smith has scored 6 goals in three first eleven starts & a few 15/20 minute sub appearances...lets hope our new No.9 shows Ross how it's done & then he can go sulk & tweet his followers on Twitter whilst on the bench

Lees and Pearce are not the problem - in first half Pearce was outstanding.

The biggest crock of shite were

Warnock - cant play wing back if no pace or not fit - tackling a bit also helps

McCormack - 2 of the goals came from him losing it up front - it's not always down to the defenders - he gave ball away too easy and is becoming a liability - play well against the bad teams but its about time he turned up when we need it

Kenny - better than at Derby but after all these years playing why can't he kick it out further down field or in the field


And like at Derby we have no leaders - who is screaming at the players to sort it out

Said it before this league is nothing special - I've only seen 4 of the away games this year and not seen a good team yet but in those 4 we've got 1 point - lets face it HUddersfield are crap DErby were crap REading there for the taking as we're Leicester

Attitude better but still not good enough - players should realise who they are playing for - they were ashamed to walk over to us at the end and most didn't - only the manger and BLackstock came anywhere near

McComic hardly mentioned in commentary and did not seem to contribute anything positive? This seems to have been a fairly consistent theme since he got the security of a new contract so = take without give for me atm. Contrast this with the raw eagerness of Smith, who has been patient - no doubt frustrated at the same time - and taken his chance.

This guy shows the passion that McComic - who frankly seems disinterested - does not I doubt anyone would give us 2 pence for him now.

I may sound like a broken record but i did warn you all about the much loved Ross McCormack, personally i have never rated him & struggle to comprehend the adulation he receives whilst the majority of our fans were over the moon when he & his agent manipulated a nice little deal for himself i was terribly disappointed with the outcome & now i feel he has well & truly stitched LUFC & the fans up. The £2m+ could have been put to good use by McD to repair the damage Warnock left us with to build a more efficient squad

Three managers have dropped Ross, four managers(including a Cardiff manager) have switched him from striker to a midfielder, he plays neither role efficiently on a consistent basis so why the hell does McD persevere with McCormack ?
Fans tell me he is too clever for his teammates with his intricate passing....all I see is his passes going astray
Other fans tell me he receives no service when he plays upfront....well Smith has managed six goals in the amount of games I can count on one hand & Dexter scores with his first touch....being a striker is instinctively being in the right place at the right time
Fans also tell me he can"t do everything so what can he do ?
McCormack came to us as a specialist dead ball taker....when did he last plant the ball in the onion bag from a free-kick because I can't recall one ?
He constantly gives the ball away cheaply & now he has developed a trait of falling over at will in & around the box when he overruns or loses possession, in other words trying to con the officials in an effort to gain an advantage
He use to take all our corners/set-pieces which we rarely scored from....interesting to see a young kid taking over that role as Mowatt created both goals today with two superb crosses, that's how to effect a game when you are a midfielder.
Why should we keep accommodating McCormack, let face it if he was any good the prem teams would have snapped him up by now, he'd also walk into a very poor Scotland squad, not the case as Ross is very ordinary & must go down as one of the most overrated players to wear the white shirt of Leeds by our fans

McCormack fans can defend him as much as they like but whilst we have this shirking poser in our team we are going nowhere folks !

Absolutely beautiful play there. It's a shame that it wasn't McCormack or Smith in Murphy's position as I suspect they would have buried it and we would have won!

I think we still need patience, this formation is still bedding in and that kind of play is very encouraging!
