Leeds v Huddersfield - Team/Reports/Ratings

Post by 1964white »

I suspect Warnock will have no choice of making changes for tomorrow's game as several of our players are carrying injuries....doubts about Kenny, Byram, Lees, Tonge, Norris, McCormack, Morrison which i've always insisted would take it's toll on the run-in, I reckon at least three players will be missing.

Always a tough encounter v our Yorkshire rivals, so i'm going for yet another draw !

I thought Habibou was the second coming? Certainly can't do any worse than Ross in the goal scoring department.

Given all the injury concerns I would expect likes of EHD, Rodolph Austin to start tomorrow, with maybe even Aidy White.
Rumour has it that neither Morison and McCormack are fit enough so probably Diouf with Varney up front.

I find it a little odd that you can have such negative feelings about a player who has only been allowed to play for a matter of minutes and yet when people criticize Morison, a premiership player who has dropped down a division and hasn't covered himself with glory, it is deemed unfair :? :bear:
I'm going back to 505, I saw them at Sheffield and they were amazing.

Wasn't so much a falling out, as worncock questioning the kid's attitude and ability - despite Redfearn (who managed him in the U21's every week), constantly praising Dom's skill and footballing vision.

OOPS! "Skill and footballing vision"? That's why warnock doesn't like him. Can't be having THAT in the 1st team, eh?

I'd like to see us move him on for a cash consideration, he clearly has talent but has never fitted in with whatever system we happen to be playing. doesn't score enough goals for a striker for me, and before anyone suggest that's due to where he's being played, he doesn't score enough goals as a winger either...

There is obviously ability/talent in this feet, but it has not shown itself enough in a Leeds shirt. I agree that we should "cash in", though I am not sure how much we could realistically get for him?

I assume that he is one of the higher earners in the squad and moving him off the wage bill would - in itself - be a plus.

I'm not sure what system would suit him, but he does not fit the conventional role of striker or winger - neither does he perform their respective basic functions.

Hadn't we ought to leave it to the new manager to sort out Warnock's mess - he's certainly going to have his work cut out.
