I like that team, if only there was a center midfielder in there to make things tick, then I would say that was a very decent team. Time to bring some youth into the team, see what they can do for next season?

The guy has played in the prem this season, he must have talent, and has got a few for us already despite coming here without fitness, give him a chance

He does not have the quality to be a main striker in my eyes he will just be one of a long ling of strikers over the years we have bought who were prolific before they set foot in Elland Road and then gone one to fail.The club will not go as you put it down the toilet as i have said we have bought plenty of duff strikers but have gone on to better things.

He COULD be just what the club needs at this level, if given a chance. He's come to us injured and without match fitness. I feel that as the season is pretty much over, promotion wise, that we now turn our thoughts to next season and a full scale assault on promotion. Morison will have the benefit of a full pre-season with the club, more knowledge of the rest of the team, and hopefully the tactics of a new manager. A few decent signings, which are more readily available during the summer, and anything is possible. I don't feel that blaming individual players for our long term malaise is productive, they need our support, not slagging off. The players who needed slagging off are, in the main, history now.... so lets concentrate on the new season.

All the more reason for GFH to get their collective fingers out and get a new man in place now. 7 or 8 games to assess the squad, frame a shopping list etc. Morison is suffering unfavourable comparisons to a favourite son (for most) who was drummed out of the club by that pr*ck Warncock. He scored 12 goals in the Prem for a distinctly average Norwich side, so I don't think his ability is in doubt. He, along with the rest of the squad, will benefit from a full pre-season (providing we do our business early) and we can then hopefully hit the ground running in August. You make a valid point re the relegated clubs EY, but how many ever start well? In general, they're a bit shell-shocked and it takes them a couple of months to adjust to life in the Championship, so the period to Xmas could be vital for those clubs, including Leeds, who won't have the parachute payments

There aren't that many teams who bounce straight back up, Birmingham and Sunderland have history of that, but most others struggle, because basically the top of the Championship is every bit as good as the bottom half of the Premiership. I still say that in the main, the players we have are good enough (we still need a couple of marquee signings), they just need the right managership. I am firm in my view that Warnock is too old hat to get the best out of this team, and we need a younger, more tactically aware manager, and very, very soon. Colin isn't getting the right balance or tactics for us to make a real mark against our opposition, very few of whom are tearing up trees theirselves. We need a flying start to next season, and we need it NOW!

If they don't come up with any cash for next season, they expose themselves as being potless, and wide open for a hostile takeover. I am fairly ambivalent about GFHC, they've done nowt to hurt the club, but so far they have done only a little towards moving forward. I feel that there are motions underway towards buying the club, and that GFHC wiil flip the club. It has to be better than doing nothing.
