Blackburn v Leeds - Team/Reports/Ratings
Looking foward to this one with nearly 7,000 Leeds fans heading to Ewood Park
Be interesting to see if McD starts with the same line-up as in the Boro' game
Tough game !

If they start - Ross' 100th, Rodi's 50th and Mowatt's 10th starts for LUFC.

Re: Blackburn v Leeds - Team/Reports/Ratings
I think we'll start with the same eleven as Middlesbrough and hopefully the confidence is growing week by week. I'm also looking forward to this game and would settle for a draw but feel we can win it if we get straight into attacking mode and get Blackburn on the back foot.
Anybody wanting a pint before kick off could be out of luck as The Fernhurst which was the traditional away fans pub is now a chain type food pub and doesn't allow fans in. The Golden Cup pub as you come off the M65 at J4 is an option but very small and anyone going to The Bear down the hill towards the ground, don't bother,it burnt down last year!!!

With Reading beating Forest tonight if we win we're guaranteed 5 th place.

More importantly (For O/P Lee) - one of the away fans regular boozers burned down last month and the other is closed for renovationrich_leeds64 wrote:With Reading beating Forest tonight if we win we're guaranteed 5 th place.
Mind you, with double the amount of away fans to home fans in town, I doubt there'll be any probs finding a pub with Leeds fans in it!

Seriously tho - his 100th start and he will also want to score for Moody. Ross is wearing a black arm band in Moody's honour tomorrow and is helping the lad's family, from what I gather...

No idea what happened. None of the betting streams had the game either. Think it was Bet365 that advertised it and the streamers picked up on that, to advertise the game.El Es Six wrote:

Yeah no worries probably a good thing as it didn't sound a classic game…Twiggster wrote:No idea what happened. None of the betting streams had the game either. Think it was Bet365 that advertised it and the streamers picked up on that, to advertise the game.

Class from Ross today
-shame he didn't score to show that during the game. Ross also wore a black arm band on his shirt for Moody.

Re: Blackburn v Leeds - Team/Reports/Ratings
No game reports yet? Scores on the doors?
For what it is worth - from my mates at the game, Kenny was MOTM for some fantastic saves. That from the same pals who can't tolerate him usually. Backed up by Thom and Eddie on LUTV.
Credit where it is due. He was even in their box at the end when we had all those corners in added time. Missed a shot on goal tho. Typical
One mate texted "only Leeds player who looked awake today 10/10".
More of the same and I may yet warm to him.

Re: Blackburn v Leeds - Team/Reports/Ratings
What a shocker !
No quality, cohesion, guile whatsoever.....can't retain the ball for more than a couple of passes, have no idea what to do with the ball when we are actually in possession....movement static....one shot on target which should have been buried by Pugh & another whimper of a effort from Ross their keeper saved with ease !
Only two players come out with any credit or score 7 or more
I may as well have chucked £60 down the drain or gave it to some tramp as a Xmas present.....truly shocking......I hope our players are proud of themselves when they draw their 10k to 17k salaries because in any other walk of life they would be queuing up at the dole office on Monday morning !
Kenny 9 - a superb first half double save & a wonderful one handed save that was destined for the top corner kept the score down to one, would have been a deserved drubbing had it not been for Paddy
Peltier 5
Pearce 5
Zuliakas 5
Lees 3
Pugh 5
Murphy 7 - his best game in a long time, why BM subbed him god only knows
Austin 3 - what a lump, useless away from ER
Mowatt 5 - needs to pick up his ER form, tried but looked very frustrated
Varney 1 - absolutely hopeless
McCormack 5 - a couple of sublime moments controlling difficult balls, not enough though from our supposingly star man
Why were Varney & Ross playing 20 yards apart from each other, always thought strike-duo's are suppose to link up together.....feeble !
