Although we were shocking at Blackburn I suspect BM won't make too many changes v Wigan. I reckon Warnock & either Blackstock or Smith for Pugh &

Byram will only start if he is 100% fit, not sure he is yet !

I'd be tempted to start Brown for Austin but he won't drop his slouch of a captain although Rudy is more effective at ER as is young Mowatt so I think both will start alongside Murphy in the centre-midfield again

Pugh's held the fort. Peltier has done ok. But I'd like to see Warnock and Byram back - equally as good in defence as the other 2 but much more effective going forwards for me.

I'd say if fit, then Byram in. Pugh/Warnock is a different proposition though as Danny's done pretty well bar his miss last week (and I doubt Warnock would even have been in that position!).

It's a concern if both Ross and Blackstock are doubts though, I can't really see any of the others stepping up right now. Hunt seems to have fallen off the map completely.

Stick with the Midfield and the rest of the Defence though, as they seem to be gaining a better understanding the more they play.

Hunt apparanrtly came to us with an injury that got worse and they finally realised he had to stop playing and have it treated , hence why he has been nowwhere to be seen of late. I am hoping this was why he was so poor in the games we saw him take part in.........we certainly need a very different Hunt when he returns !!

I think it's a game to employ one of Diouf/Brown/Tonge/Green for that bit of experience.

I don't think Smith, Poleon or Diouf have the stamina or determination to do the full 90mins so I'd think McDermott might rely on Varney or Hunt up front with one of them.

Tough choices to be made. Another week where teams above us have slipped up...we need to take advantage of these mishaps sooner rather than later.
