Cooper, Ayling, Pennington, De Bock all injured, CBJ rightfully sent back from loan, our defence is always going to look frail. When you think we have to rely on Cooper at CB it shows how much depth we don’t have. With Berardi facing a 4 game ban it really is time to throw in the youngsters.

Edit... just heard Berardi has a 5 game ban so he’s season is over, that does get me wondering if he fancied an early finish....

Admired Berardi big-time a few years ago, now he is distinctly average & a liability

I've seen many good full-backs in this league over the season

Get rid we can do much better !

No need for Orta to look abroad they are under his nose in the championship

Beradi is a right back who's served us well playing out of position. Who's featured regularly on the MOTM voting even last week. I want him in the squad next season

Sorry folks Berardi's defensive side of the game has been nowhere near as good this season. He rarely gets forward & when he does he has a nosebleed, can't go past players, poor crosser of a ball & his discipline is atrocious

I suspect will see a difference with Ayling (if he can recover his first season form at Leeds) or young Lewie Coyle when he returns from his outstanding loan spell with Fleetwood.
Attacking full-backs is the way to go, so difficult to mark !

Poor result against a poor team....come to think of it we..we are a poor team....so that negates the former.

Of course Ayling was difficult to mark, he was never in position........

Berardi has been forced into a position for most of this season and last, that is not his natural position, and done the job better than most whose natural position it is....
When he plays RB he does get forward, and crosses the ball, when he is LB he doesn't, maybe because he is not that confident on acurate crosses with his left foot.

Well purely from those highlights

again

PURELY FROM THE HIGHLIGHTS

Dallas was dangerous going forward, some good crossing went to waste
Sunderland probably had a couple of good chances including a beautifully worked goal I saw no fault for, that was really it though
Vierra' long passing is getting better, we have a very good young player there.
O'Conner looked very good in his debut, very good
Saiz and Hernandez quality
BPF made a save the Weidwald could never have
We created a hatful of chances
Deserved to win, fightback commendable
Lassoga can sit out the rest of the season
Played good football again, credit to PH
Beradi rash but not as bad as last weeks hack on Lassoga. Looks like he went in with his right and got it wrong adjusted by also using his left too late. That what happens when you play a right footer on the left
Confidence is low
Refereeing still against us, two non fouls in the Sunderland box?
No luck at all, that to be fair has been missing since the start of the season bar the first half dozen games ..

And ONLY DREW with the team at the bottom of the league. Nothing creditable about that.

Team fighting for their lives v a team with nothing to play for ...I'd say the former was the favourite, just. Especially with all the injuries in the defence

Name me two teams that have only had two wins since the New Year.
That is in approximately 13 weeks. One of them was supposed to be
pushing for the playoffs and the other was fighting a relegation battle.

Leon when you back a horse I suppose you look at the form before you
decide to put your money on it. I would like you to dispassionately do an
analysis of Leeds form over the past 3 months and draw some conclusions
as to why we are not at the races, as a football club.

So you reckon a team 2nd bottom with 6 wins all season, the fewest in the league, were favourites against us?

If it's got that bad then how on earth can you defend Heckingbottom?

I spend a lot of time studying the formbook when making my selections on the gee-gees although I tend to look for value bets & I don't always go for the obvious form horse.

The Leeds form has been appalling since the 30th December 2017. Even in December when we were nicking points against Villa, Hull, Norwich & Burton our form was very sketchy, our only decent comfortable performance was at Loftus Road in that period

Our fans seem to forget we only won one of our eight matches from the end of September for two months.

We are not at the races for several reasons :

Radz/Orta's decision-making from day one
Selling our best players & not replacing them with quality types
DOF system not allowing us to employ an accomplished manager
Poor signings
Poor squad of players
Poor captain
Poor discipline
Long injury list (although majority are not good enough)

Our club is a mess & that is now showing up on the pitch

Is Coyle back at Leeds after he's loan ? If so, why on earth isnt he playing - Dallas for all he's effort is no right back and I am sure has no desire to be considered one.
PS - Agree about he's crosses, absolutely woeful and no excuse there for him, as a winger delivering the ball into the box should be he's expertise !!

Think we have all loved Berardi over the past few years for the commitment to the shirt but it's clear now that he isnt good enough either at RB or LB.

Up front, god knows what we can do. They are all woeful !!
LEEDS AND FOREVER PROUD TO BE !!
