Finding that purple patch that I mentioned he was capable of a few weeks ago when just about all and sundry were calling for him to be dropped. He'll have his ups, he'll have his downs but at the end of the season his stats will once again be comparable with the best in his position. Think that is 5 goals and 9 assists this season (6 assists and 4 goals in the prem).

Full credit to him. Thought he was top class today. He looks like the player Newcastle wanted at the start of the season.

Think he has his mojo back after struggling for much of the season trying to play in a structure that plain didn't suit him.

When he has ever been anything other than a purple patch player?

More than that. I think is the best 4 game stretch we've ever seen from him in the premier league. It's what Newcastle and Leicester saw. And no coincidence that it's come on the back of a new manager - one who knows what he's doing - one who wasn't trying to ship him out in January.

He hasn't, pull up as many stats as you like. For the majority of games he's been plain awful.
He was decent last night I'm pleased to say. Let's hope he continues in the same vein until the end of the season.

I agree, kinhell he's a 100%er our Jack, you get every ounce out of him, good on him.

Yeah he lost his way a little and a lot of that has to be credited to Bennyhillball, too compact and fcking manic.

He's got his space again and help from Ayling and others, they mixed it up well last night between them.

He definitely went through a spell where he'd lost the plot trying way too hard to do everything, bombling across to take shyte corners, grabbing the ball at free kicks and delivering shyte balls again.

He's hopefully learned to let some of the others have the ball and to concentrate on his own game and finding runs and space.

Tonight was the 30th game Jack Harrison has scored in for Leeds United. Players with the most wins in their first 30 games scored in for Leeds United

28 Alan Smith
26 Johnny Giles
26 Mick Jones
26 Allan Clarke
26 Jack Harrison

Harrison's overall record:

DWWWWWWWWWLWWWWWWWWWWWDWWWWDWW

We've only lost one game when Jack scores.

Since Javier Gracia's first game in charge of Leeds, only three players (Trossard, Salah, Martinelli) have more goals and assists combined in the Premier League than Jack Harrison (3 goals, 2 assists).

That's the point I've made all along is that with Jack you have to accept, and expect, the poor performances because you know he'll hit a purple patch at some point. He has shown it for 3 years now and each of those years his stats at the end of the season tally up. Get him to be able to do it more consistently and you have a £50m+ player on your hands which is why other teams want him.

We don't see Harvey Barnes's bad games, Maddison's bad games etc all we see of them is the highlights (unless they are playing us) and so people think they are brilliant every week. With Jack we see everything. Put together a youtube clip of the best of Jack and he would look like one of the best players in the world.

And I would also think that most of Jack's goals have been 'important' goals by which I mean scored when we were behind or level rather than netting the 5th in a 5-0 win. Without checking the history I would say it is likely as we haven't seemed to win that many games by more than a single goal in the last few years.

Great stats from 64.
I’d like to know the difference if you take out his goals in those games. That’s not the be all & end all I know as there’s quite a few assists & general contribution but would be interesting.
Maybe a little reminder for those who continuously want to drive him somewhere or other

As has been mentioned Harrison performances vary, as do most forwards in this league, check out comparable players and you will see peaks and troughs.

Lot if reliable journalists saying Jack will sign a new deal very soon.

Fair play he has really stood up recently.

Just hope It isn't another false dawn, we have been here before

That's an unbelievable stat. Only one defeat when Jack has scored.
Stick him up top for the rest of the season Javi.
