Hey. I began to get involved in playing the guitar. For decades, Gibson has been one of the world's leading guitar manufacturers. I recently bought a guitar for myself. But I did not buy a new one. I got the guitar in good condition. I found a person who sells used musical instruments online. If you need it, you can write to me by mail, and I will give you the contacts of this person.

Can't justify any new guitars at the moment, unfortunately.

Begun band rehearsals again using my Gretsch, and really pleased with the new pickups now I've finally heard how they work at full volume.
Why be happy when you could be normal.

At the beginning of lockdown, I decided to spend my extra spare time usefully and keep myself busy. So I have been practicing the (electric) piano every day.
It has been time well spent, as I can now play "Marching on Together"!

I'm learning the triangle ....
I don't like staying at home
When the moon is bleeding red
Woke up stoned in the backseat from a dream where my teeth fell out of my head
Cut it up, cut it up, yeah
Everybody's on something here. My God send chemical best friend. Skeleton whispering in my ear

Decided three years ago (aged 49) that I would like to learn bass. I'd wanted to for God knows how many years but never got round to it. Bought this beauty and played it most days for about a year but when we moved house it got put in the loft for a bit and I stopped playing. it's now back in my music room and I've just started picking it up again but I'm almost back to square one again. I'm hugely ill disciplined, which is my main problem.

Nearly fifteen years ago, Christine Balfa, the daughter of Cajun music legend Dewey Balfa and a Cajun music legend in her own right, thought it would be funny to record an album of solo triangle music. She did it as a joke, but certain people in the press took it seriously and declared it a work of genius. Got to know Christine when I was on the board of directors of Louisiana Folk Roots.

I own a copy and Christine was kind enough to sign it for me.

Here's a video of Christine with her band Balfa Toujours:
