I believe Hants have an American cricketer in the ranks.

Do Hampshire blood any young players?
Watch out for Tom prost, should be something special. Tom Albert also, few others...

And yes Ian Holland was born in the States but moved to Aus very early

Rain Delay at Scarborough - Inspection at 1:40pm local time.

God maybe smiling on us, though there is plenty of time for Yorks to totally blow it.

Hants will have the match done & dusted by tomorrow evening.

205 to win should be a breeze for Hants.

I'll be surprised if Yorkshire bowl Hampshire out, going on this season's 2nd innings track record.

It's in the balance imo, we're an inconsistent batting team...

As I thought, a formality for Hants.

Our second team are clearly not good enough to compete with the best in this league.

Good job we've achieved one victory in our ten matches. Thank god the four or five counties below us struggle to win matches.

Maybe we'd be better off in Division 2.

Good win, I think this Yorks team better than most Yorks fans think btw... Batting first probably the difference, though day 2 batting was probably tougher with the pitch sweating under the covers

Sorry faaip, but this Yorkshire team is the worst I've seen since the bad old days of the 80s.

And now the disgraceful board have sacked Patto.. 😡

Is there no end to this shite ?

TBF, I didn't comment on the board. Not for me to do so

Fully agree Haighy

Patto is one of my favourites, so sad the board has taken this action. I felt sorry for Patto having been lumbered with captaining Yorkshire's 2nd XI & expected to compete with the elite.

The club stinks!

Hants got a nice run-in v Northants, Kent & Warwickshire, two in the bottom four.

Yep saw that. We only get Surrey once this season it seems .... So no real chance to catch
