Suck on that Frankie boy

Re: Today's Games
Good Sunday for us in the end, nervy times to come on Thursday night though - both lose and I’d say it’s Everton most likely to go down.

Re: Today's Games
Wouldn't that have been even better to savour with another two points in the bag?
Marsch OUT
Football has undergone a process of bielsification; pressing and possessing, passing rather than dribbling, intercepting high up the field rather than making last-ditch tackles, are in vogue.
Marcelo Bielsa. The light that will never go out.

Re: Today's Games
Still in Everton hands but nerves will be jangling.
They have seemingly a bit of a defensive crisis with just Holgate fit at cb.
Calbert-Lewin was holding his hamstring towards the end of the game.
And there game.in hand is vs Palace who have beaten them twice this season by an aggregate of 7-1.
This isn't over yet.
That being said I don't see us beating Brentford

I don't fancy us at Brentford tbh. Rather play them than arsenal though. Newcastle could easily win at Burnley or just as easily capitulate..maybe lady luck will be on our side and I think we'll need it .WhiteRose wrote:Good Sunday for us in the end, nervy times to come on Thursday night though - both lose and I’d say it’s Everton most likely to go down.

Re: Today's Games
To use poker parlance, that does give us another 'out'. Only if we beat Brentford though.
Hope Gerrard isn't going to go to easy on Burnley on thurs . Especially as they play ManC last game ,if you get my drift.

But for Cooper's head it would've been ! For once it was in the way when we didn't want it to be.William wrote:Wouldn't that have been even better to savour with another two points in the bag?

A point may be sufficient. We need villa to help us out now.Cjay wrote:Still in Everton hands but nerves will be jangling.

Re: Today's Games
Should've been three, that minute where Rodrigo failed to play the killer pass, got dispossessed and they broke cost us the win.
Llorente was dreadful in us conceding that goal.
Actually thought Rodrigo did well in the second half and we should've won.

Re: Today's Games
I watched Burnley v Villa last week and Villa murdered them.
Villa will do again.
Pressure right on Burnley and Everton now as things went against them big style today, thank fook
