1 - Musical INstruments

2 - A band on ship (Abandon Ship)
As per my reply to Hector, 1 is correct

You've got part of 2 correct, but there is more

I've not gotten very far with this, it's an anagram of CHAINS which I played with for a while...Broken Chains, Twisted Chains ..that sort of thing. Fiddled with CAN and HIS obviously ...

Sorry no

The letters HICANS appear is that order in the name of the book/movie.

They are part of the title, and in that order.

We had a trivia night via video with some friends last night.
Here's one I pulled the answer from the depths of my memory.
In the tv series the Lone Ranger what was the name of Tontos horse?

Tonto's horse was called 'Scout', I think the horse was originally called something else but I can't remember it

Well done Leon. Did you remember it from the 1960s or was the horse named in the recent movie? I never saw the movie.

This teaser is science-related

You are in a restaurant with you when the bill (or check for our US friends) arrives at the table.

your friend issues a challenge ;if you can remove that ice cube from that glass of water without touching the ice, water, the glass or the table with your hands, I'll buy you lunch'.

You can use the following things all of which are on the table - the salt and pepper holders, a little piece of string and a penny.

What should you do?
