Yes....David Coleman. Brilliant wasnt it. I like that one better than "They think it's all over, it is now"

Barry Davies & David Coleman are my favourite football commentators, unlike the modern day jokers.

At least Barry, David & John Motson mentioned the footballer's name's when they were on the ball, as opposed to the pointless rambling throughout a game these days.

I often watch games on mute now, or very low volume due to the inane ramblings of these so called commentators who love the sound of their own voice and think they know everything there is to know :x

I knew I meant to get back to you about this, I was wrong, the draw wouldn't have even put us with Palace had we gone through, the draw works like this :

The numbers are assigned based on the order that the ties were drawn out of the hat in the previous round.

For example, Leicester City v Wigan was the first game drawn out for the third round, so winners Leicester have been assigned number 'one' for the fourth round draw.

So Preston were the first team out in the round below and so on.

Preston v Aston Villa
Bournemouth v Man City
Brighton v Forest
Fulham v Crystal Palace

Interesting, can't be arsed to go back and figure out who we would have gotten though

I wonder if William & his boys made it to the after attending the Pope's funeral.

Now, Villa fans know the feeling when you lose 3-0 at Wembley.

Three smashing goals from Palace.

Its frightening watching the pace & power of these teams, Swannie.

We have to be ruthless in the summer window if we wish to compete with this lot.

Forest put up a good fight against a Citeh side who are looking to save their season with a trophy in mind. I would love to have seen a Palace v Forest Final, as it would be a tough one to call.

Forest hit the woodwork three times after going 2-0 down.

Gibbs-White effort against the bar was a magnificent effort.

I don't think I've watched an FA Cup final since the early 90's. I have all the one's from the 80's on DVD so I dig them out now and then. Some great finals back then when the FA Cup meant something. I'll probably flick over from the cricket if it goes to penalties.

Used to love when it was an all day tv thing...build up
Started like 10am and all the family picked sides and watched the whole spectacle.

Commentators were great back then
