Re: Derby County - Rams could still be relegated.
Latest Derby proposed take over has fallen through with Spanish Buisnessman Alonso and has been called off
Re: Derby County - Rams could still be relegated.
Bill Turnbull the ex-BBC news presenter suffering with terminal cancer would be over the moon if his club Wycombe escape relegation just as all us Leeds fans will be
At least Wycombe made a fight of it unlike the Owls & Rotherham.

It looks like the chickens may be coming home to roost;

And what’s more laughable is that Rooney says he’ll leave if they are relegated. He’s not interested in managing in League One!! After doing his very best to send them there without any help from the EFL!

Doubt it will happen, but fingers crossed

Derby will not be relegated. The EFL will not appeal against the fine
Derby have got away with cheating Wycombe Wanderers out of a championship place

Re: Derby County - Rams could still be relegated.
Derby have to submit more accounts by August 18th anyway, id be amazed if they dont get a points deduction, slow death?
Besides id have more sympathy if Wycombe hadnt voted to finish the League 1 season on a ppg basis to cheat other teams out of the playoffs.
Wycombe didnt deserve to be in the Championship anyways.
Derby will get relegated next year

Hopefully the ongoing transfer embargo will kill them. What have they got, something like 12 senior players remaining at the club?

Reading & Hull City also under a transfer embargo.
Can't see the tigers surviving in the championship now.

A certain Mr W Ruiney’s wages must be making a sizeable hole in the Derby accounts. Big enough to sink them? Fingers crossed.

Re: Derby County
Derby have been cleared to sign new players for the upcoming Championship season after the EFL altered its rules due to "exceptional circumstances" caused by the club's coronavirus outbreak last season.
Derby are under an EFL transfer embargo that prevents them making permanent signings from other clubs but would ordinarily be able to sign free agents on 12-month contracts or make six-month loan signings if they have less than 23 players of a 'professional standing'.
Rams boss Wayne Rooney currently only has nine registered senior players, two of whom are goalkeepers.
