TAA probably letting it get to his head while opposition managers target him...doesn't make him a bad player.andrewjohnsmith wrote: ↑Sat Oct 01, 2022 10:17 pm Interesting paradox when your number 9 being top scorer could be perceived as a negative.
Of course it just means they miss Mane and Salah isn't coring his usual quota
Additional note, TAA proving Southgate right today
Liverpool Thread - Scousers nick the first big signing of the season.

Liverpool fans not happy.
Goes to show that no manager is immune from criticism.
Klopp getting hammered.
As is FSG on the Liverpool forum.
TAA, VVD, Salah etc all getting hammered
Not happy bunnies.

Cry me a river. They've won everything there is to win under their current owners. These entitled clubs should be given Ken Bates as an owner, see how they cope then.Cjay wrote: ↑Sun Oct 02, 2022 12:29 pm https://forums.liverpoolfc.com/threads/ ... ove-Albion

Re: Liverpool Thread
I have two Liverpool pals who, have totally changed their tune within three matches about Jurgen hailed as a king previously. I'm amazed how fickle they are! Never thought they would turn on the team so swiftly
One of mates texted me their next four fixtures with a comment "I think I'll go away for a couple of weeks"
I replied "I felt like that for fifteen years, but perserved with the misery"

Salah is back
Remember when Rangers & Celtic had some great battles with Leeds in the 60s/70s?
How the mighty have fallen.
Rangers/Celtic are basically championship level nowadays & would struggle to hold their own in the Premier League, a bit like us to be fair.

Re: Liverpool Thread
Salah follows up his hat-trick vs Rangers with the winning goal to defy Citeh unbeaten run, his first PL goal in six games.
Re: Liverpool Thread
He was back to near his best against Citeh Salah. Cracking game of football particularly first half. The title is still dead for lp... i can't see Citey losing many games this season. Can you imagine the media furor if coins were thrown at Pip at ER. Its already under the carpet.
Re: Liverpool Thread
Two great goals from Salah & Elliott with two sublime assists from Henderson & Salah.

To be fair, Liverpool are nowhere near the team they were in previous seasons, they pushed Citeh all the way in 2021/22, right now they'll be lucky to make the top six.Cjay wrote: ↑Sat Oct 29, 2022 11:16 pm https://forums.liverpoolfc.com/threads/ ... post-match
Seething they be
Midfield is weak & they are missing Mane imo!
My three Liverpool pals were very sporting saying Leeds deserved to win.

Re: Liverpool Thread
Salah has scored 7 goals in 6 Champions League matches.
Only 4 goals in 12 Premier League games this season.

The media perpetuate this myth that Anfield is amazing and the Liverpool support is other wordly.
It's not.
A quick YNWA start and end of the game and that's it.

I'd happily take them CJay. Won every trophy to boot. Rebuilt the stadium and training ground.
Would be funny seeing them get a sportswashing takeover, given their fans', and Klopp's, whinging about Citeh and Chelski for years
Bahrain, Dubai and Kuwait currently without clubs
Re: Liverpool Thread
Works for a club like Liverpool (all be it its harder and harder now as they have found because of the money other clubs have).SG90 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 07, 2022 2:32 pm I'd happily take them CJay. Won every trophy to boot. Rebuilt the stadium and training ground.

But for a club like us with no where near there turnover it isn't sustainable and would take literally decades to get to a place whereby we are anything more than relegation scrappers.
The rebuilds are funded by debt incidentally, debt the club have to pay back.
Again something totally unfeasible for us.
I know you like the whole idea of that sort of ownership but it isn't comparable to Liverpool.
Not sure how Dubai would work given there close ties to Abu Dhabi and the UAE.
Kuwait maybe ?
