If you think he is worth 50 mill, all power to you, ....that would make KP value at least 175 to 200 then... :)

£50m for White.... are we sure the ESL is finished. You have to say Brighton were right not to flog him to us for 25m then. Its a gamble for Arsenal but a great opportunity for White. Once again football setting a bad financial example to the world in the name of entertainment. It really does make you wonder where that sort of money comes from doesn't it. At least we know with the Double Glazers they just add it to the already illusionary debt at MU.

Arsenal have completed the signing of Anderlecht and Belgium youth midfielder Albert Sambi Lokonga on a long-term contract.

The fee, although undisclosed, is believed to be around £17.2m.

Having joined Anderlecht at 15, Lokonga made his first-team debut in December 2017, and has gone on to make 78 appearances, scoring three goals.

No no, I think 50 mill for him is mad money - now anyway - in the future depending on how he develops it may end up being money well spent.

Good luck to him though - wish it was us signing him (but not for 50 mill)

Arsenal are about to bid £30million for Aaron Ramsdale.

You know Aaron Ramsdale?

He is the goalkeeper who has been relegated twice in a row from the Premier League.

He has conceded over 60 goals in both of his 2 seasons as a number 1 at the top level.

He has only kept 10 clean sheets in 75 Premier League games.

Are we sure he isnt some sort of money laundering scheme?

How does he keep failing and then falling upwards?

He was named in the Euro 2020 squad for Christ sake.

Less than a goal a game doesn't sound bad to me and GK's live and die by their defence. Meslier conceded around 50 in one season

No idea if he's any good but I'd be watching the player not the stats to make the determination ...

Stats are useful , you seem to have a real issue with stats even though all football teams use them. Same with xG and all that stuff, modern football uses all this stuff.

The days of players only being judged by a bloke watching them only is long gone.

Bournemouth fans and Sheffield United fans dont rate Ramsdale if that helps.

Stats are useful for fantasy football but we don't get the well collated stats and metrics would be much more useful.

i'd be surprised if the 30 mill figure is true but he's been in two relegated sides - he's always going to ship loads of goals, meslier would too

was player of the year for both bournemouth and sheffield united last two seasons....

I remember seeing him a few times early in the season and couldn't believe Sheff U had paid so much for him. Looked awful. Didn't do anything to change my mind throughout the season.

Wouldnt read to much into the awards though, Sheffield United couldn't buy a goal most of the season so on that basis most of their team were never going to win an award.

Ramsdale may be the best of an absolutely dreadful bunch?

Just judging from comments on their forum and social media though he was not rated at all, almost to a man they wanted Dean Henderson back all season. And from my own eyes he made many howlers.

Take your point about the relegated teams conceding goals but from a goalkeeping point of view Ramsdale had a worse save percentage than plenty of goalies, only 70%

Emi Martinez had 76, Meslier had 75, Nick Pope was 77% and all 3 of those goalies made plenty of saves to (not as many as Ramsdale who made 145) But Martinez made 135, Mes 134, Pope 114 etc.

He was busy but he could have done much better, look at Martinez for the best example imo, saved Villa so many times, 2nd behind Grealish for most relied upon player.

I think he is ok Ramsdale but typical English talent tax, any English player is hyped up to be atleast 20% better than they are imo.

Arsenal have signed midfielder Martin Odegaard from Real Madrid for a fee in the region of £30m while goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale has completed a medical before a move from Sheffield United.

Norway international Odegaard, 22, spent the second half of last season on loan at Emirates Stadium.

He made 20 appearances in all competitions and scored two goals.

The deal for England Under-21 international Ramsdale is worth £24m plus a further £6m in add-ons.

Arsenal have lost their way for me. They just seem to be throwing money around for the sake of it. Probably to justify their extortionate ticket prices. People must be loaded in London.

Gooners on top form yesterday

Harry Kane doesn't look interested after his non-multi millions transfer in the summer.
